Thank you for this explanation. I saw online that broiler measurement is 1.1 for each and this made me over stock my birds and had some casualties before restocking and expanding.
The stocking density this supposed farmer is teaching here is very wrong. He can't even use the measurement units properly. The correct stocking density for adult layers is 5-7 birds per square metre.
My farmer friend, you tried but you are wrong. The factor u used supposed to be multipled by either 0.16 or 0.18 for broilers and layers respectively and not divided by 1.6 and 1.8 as u explained. Alternatively u can simply multiple your perimeter by 5-7 birds per square meter 👌🤗
Bro don't insist you actually not efficiently using your space for maximum productivity. The lady is right it's 5-7 chickens per square meter. You have a big house with little birds meaning you not exploring the actual capacity and not reaping the potential output

Sorry about that, most times to be on the safer side, ask someone who have done it or who’s into it thanks.
Isnt it suppose to be 5/6 layers per square meter?
No it’s 1.8 per layer because they are staying long
@@Farmsmartwithvictor 1.8 meters?

@@cynthiainnoma1709 Thank you, exactly my point of view. Thus this explains why his pen is so empty in comparison to it's size
@@gersoncampos1192 Yeah, with his stocking density, one will definitely not utilize the available space adequately.
