Frostbourne is more of a shotgun than a crossbow if used that way hahaha. I haven't reached this boss yet let alone World 8 but all bosses in Chapter 6 are really a pain in the ass to deal with the first time.

Depends on the character you are using. For Claire I suggest you get the Hollow slayer set and the Deathbringer blades. Try other combinations of blades too that works best with your character. There are also weapons that shortens your skill cool down, and those that grants you shields and some makes you somewhat immortal (..restore your health under certain conditions), so farming some diamonds for a good weapon might be the best way to win too.

Save your crystals to pull for ancient weapon, sometimes it takes times to get it since it is not guaranteed drop.
