- This video will highlight the beautiful boutique hotel - the Villa Premiere.
Its a small romantic hotel located in the 5 de Deciembre zone. Right off of the famous Malecon!
The conversion rate allows for a pretty affordable price if you're coming from the US at 147 USD per night.

Planning my first trip to Puerto Vallarta in Feb 2021...great video...did you enjoy the hotel?
It was amazing. Mind you, there was a time that we had a power outage, but that’s something that we cannot control in Mexico. Overall very comfy stay. And the concierge downstairs were always willing to exchange usd for pesos. They provide you an umbrella if you want to leave and it’s raining as well. The only thing that I would advise you to be aware of is that when you first arrive they will tell you that they are getting your room ready and then a woman named Maria will pull you to the side and try to upsell you on tours, candlelight dinners etc provided by the hotel. And she will make it clear that she wants you to pay in USD. We were firm and said that we only wanted to go to our rooms and we’re not willing to be sold things. Just be strong and ready to be firm!
In PV in general you will get a lot of unwanted attention from local sellers. Sometimes even when you sit down to eat, the staff will approach you with brochures trying to get you to pay usd for tours. Be strong and let them know that you only came to eat, and they will give you some space.
Overall It was a great stay.
Is this resort mostly for couples? I really like it but I want to go with a group of friends.
No it’s for everyone. I saw a few large groups there of just girls. You should be fine!
Is music played at the pools? How much pool music/activities do you hear from the sister hotel next door?
There was music playing. I’m not aware of the noise levels next door because they do a great job of separating the hotels with plants/ trees/ shrubbery
