This was the last song that Explosions in the Sky played at a concert I went to a couple months ago. On the drive home, my friend died in a car accident. This was his favorite band, and this song will always make me think of him and the great time we had that night. RIP Peter.

I had a father with cancer, a house that got infested with mold, which made me homeless for the next two months, and I had two months to catch up 13 credits in school or else I wasn't going to graduate, so every day I put my headphones in with EITS playing, and sure enough I walked with my class, I moved into a new home, and my father finished all of his chemo treatments. Thank you EITS, you didn't change my life, but you gave me the strength to do it on my own.
last week i was traveling from chicago to bloomington on the amtrak, listening to explosions in the sky, and i thought how beautiful it would be to film the scenery set to their music. i'm so glad i found this video! great job!

I can't tell you how many times I've been driving on the backroads and dreamed of how amazing it would be to make a video of the countryside flying by with this kind of music in the background.
