I have always supported all the Anderson's. I was a Dennis Anderson fan from age 6, I became fans of Adam & Ryan in 2019, and Krysten in the same year AT MY FIRST EVER MONSTER JAM SHOW (Triple Threat Series, ScotiaCentre, Toronto, Ontario, Canada) When I found out that Krysten was Dennis' daughter, my first thought was 'WHAT THE FUCK!!! I'm rooting for her!' And I did for the rest of the night! When I found out that she won her series championship, I went nuts, saying the Anderson's are the best! And Weston, I went crazy. 5 generations of Anderson's! I couldn't believe it! This was me in 2022. But anyways, make sure Dennis, Adam, Ryan, Krysten & Weston all see this. I will support all of them until the day I die! WHO IS WITH ME!!!!???
17:25 It was at this part of the speech that I started tearing up, knowing that I was a part of the small group of people that was behind Krysten 100% percent of the time. What she said in her interview stands true! She doesn’t have to be her father or brothers! SHE IS KRYSTEN ANDERSON AND SHE IS A CHAMPION!!
I should really share this video with my sister. I showed her the Steel Titans 2 video game on my X-Box a few months ago and she seemed to enjoy that. Krysten's story and rise to stardom is one worth hearing.
When I first saw her in competition I don’t rember that much but I remember her freestyle was pretty similar to scooby-doo’s run in 2015 so it’s amazing to see how far she has come
Krysten Anderson made such an impact for the Grave Digger team and becoming the first Woman to win the point series trophy. Fun fact: I've made Krysten a 6-Year old in my "Monster Jam Kids/Camp Monster Jam" series as a reference to 6-years of her becoming a Monster Jam driver.
I was saying this ever since Krysten started driving, “She’s a good driver”. I was believing in her from the very start. I still root for her whenever she’s driving!!
Krystan is by no means a bad driver. However she has been competing in the arena setting since 2017. Got the opportunity to compete on a stadium tour in 2020 and did rather poor. She did win a series championship, yes. And overall I think her growth as a driver in terms of skill has been very slow. I mean you have to remember she’s been in this game for six years now and has only competed in the world finals once. Mind you that happened last year which is pretty evident of her growth. I don’t think she’s underrated I think she’s just a conservative driver.
Krysten nailed it right on in her speech, she doesn't have to be anyone, but her self. Shes a very talented driver, but hasn't been driving high horsepower machines for long. Ryan, Adam, and Weston had all been driving and crashing stuff their whole lives, but Krysten only got to it later on, which explains her conservative driving style. She hasnt had the time to develop the Anderson's style that Ryan, Adam and Weston did. I used to be somone who downolayed Krysten, but this video definitely gave me a new perspective. Is she as good as the rest of the Anderson's, not as of now, bur she doesnt have to be. She has a different, more conservative and technical style that fits the arena style. Give her a few years and she'll be ripping stadiums and getting even more consistent wins. She has some improvement to do, but she has done some bloody good work! She can be Krysten, and she is a bloody great driver! Excellent work on the video my freind! Keep up the great work as well!
Honestly, she's good but not great. I understand she struggles with running the Digger name and having the Anderson name (also with being the only full-time female Digger driver), she hasn't done anything of amazing proportions. I know that she won an Arena Series Championship, but so has drivers like Justin Sipes who most Monster Jam fans don't remember. What I would love to see is her progress past being an arena-exclusive driver and enter the Stadium atmosphere like Tyler, or keep growing on the Arena Series and start winning bigger and bigger events, like Brandon and Weston.
Well me and some fans DO remember Justin as he pretty much become the face behind Megalodon and like I said in MonsterTalk's announcement post for this video, 2017 in my opinion had arguably the best rookie class in Monster Jam history because of people like Krysten, Camden Murphy, and Justin Sipes.
@@SakicFan I completely agree with you. But Justin is just not remembered by newer fans. That's not right because he is one of, if not THE most accomplished Triple Threat Series driver ever. Also, 2017 was the best MJU grown rookie class ever.
@@TwiliteTrucks I had a feeling I should've worded my comment a little different with who Justin is remembered by but that's okay. (BTW I dig that profile picture)
@@SakicFan 2007 Class In The Background Standing Utterly Confused. (Steve Sims, Damon Bradshaw, Candice Jolly, Courtney Jolly,Bobby Parr, and Lenny Kuilder.)
They need to go back to having the officials score. Too many fans are bias in their scoring and in my opinion it is REALLY swaying these podiums to be entirely based on popularity. Take me back to the old days.
I say Krysten yes and no for being underrated I feel like that unlike her brothers that had competed during a time monster jam during the prime years and was very competitive and kinda still hard unless you were breaking crap. But Krysten I feel like had been more given then earned unlike her brothers but I can't agrue of what she accomplished but I just feel like that duno exactly why tho.
She's gonna be a phenomenal driver in few yrs. She needs more tome behind wheel to get used to it or go back to monster jam university for some fine tuning. Out Dennis kids she has the least experience
I wouldn’t say she’s underrated, and she’s one of my favorite drivers. I’d say she’s a little more properly rated who still kind of struggles to live up to Dennis’ legacy
No offense to Kristen but she is only in GD bc she is a Anderson nothing more she is not underrated, she is just "mid", look at her 2023 season yea... not so good. No offense but that championship only happened bc of fan judging and mostly a easy tour. She has the talent but man she has been in the buisness to long to not do good so she has no excuse anymore, that championship will be her last unless she doesent have competition on her tour. No hate to Kristen at all she is a amazing driver by heart, but in case of talent she is wasting her time in GD, it would be different if she was in like Megalodon, or Monster Mutt Dalmation
shes a decent driver but honestly i dont think she lives up to the grave digger name too well. shes not the worst driver ever and i dont wanna down play her success or achievements, but again, she doesn't really live up to the hype that grave digger generates too much. even weston, who only really started competing last year, i feel has done a better job living up to the grave digger name than her. shes has potential to be great, ill say that. she hasnt fully reached it yet, though.
Not everyone can pull off a world championship right out the gate, she’s doing good on her own journey. You’re not the one crewing nor driving and yet everyone always has an opinion on what a driver is doing, Dennis didn’t win til 2001 after 20 years of driving. Adam didn’t win till 08’ or Ryan didn’t win a championship at world finals till a few years after he debuted. So no driver is perfect no matter the name on the truck.
as if being monster jam talent means anything you don't need to be in monster jam to have talent all the Bigfoot drivers and many others are proof of this
You say this like you’re a monster jam level talent, you’re a little kid still watching videos, she’s a talented driver in her own way, not everyone has to be doing backflips, bicycles and moonwalks to be talented. She brings something new to the table and that’s all that matters
@@theunhingedgamer3762 I agree. But having the Anderson last name she shouldn’t be in a Grave Digger with that level of talent. In my opinion she should have to work for that truck still.
@@NcMonsterTrucks I’ve been a fan since the early 90’s and seen many drivers with different styles. I just don’t think she deserves that truck even with that last name. Adam worked for it and so did Ryan. I’m glad she’s not in stadiums that much but every time I see her it’s last place/rookie level driving.
@@Higher1mpact dude just bc she’s an Anderson doesn’t mean anything, y’all never complained when toms sons started out in a maxd truck, no one complained about Adam driving .
