    Agonda, situated within the Canacona region of South Goa district, India, is renowned for its serene beach. This hidden gem offers a pristine getaway. The sand is clean, the beach is unspoiled, and the atmosphere is incredibly relaxing.
    Agonda Beach is a 3 km long public beach located in Agonda village in Goa, India, about 9.2 kilometers (5.7 mi) north of Palolem Beach in South Goa district, and about an hour from Margao. There is one more beach on the north side of Agonda cliff called Cola beach which has an adjoining lagoon.
    Located at a distance of just 15 minutes of drive from the popular Palolem beach, Agonda Beach is considered as one of the most romantic beaches in Goa. It presents the most beautiful and refreshingly romantic side of Goa.
    A three km pristine stretch of sparkling sand that have been dotted with palm trees and surrounded with blue expanse of Ocean forms the Agonda Beach. For those who are looking for a few peaceful, undisturbed moments, this beach is the best place to be.As the hawkers aren’t allowed at the beach, there is absolutely no disturbance, letting you to bask in the mesmerizing beauty of the nature.
    Swimming is quite popular here. Another activity that attracts visitors is the boat trips. Local fishermen take tourists for dolphin rides. Hiking on the hillocks also make for an exciting activity.

    You can also explore the place nearby as it hosts some of the popular tourist spots. One such place is the Cabo de Rama, built by the Maratha king Sambhaji Raj and later captured by Portuguese.
    Sina Hotel, which has also been dubbed the Ghost Hotel of Goa, is a hotel that never was. About three decades ago, a Russian citizen was undertaking the mammoth task of building a luxury sea-facing resort near Agonda Beach. However, the project could never be complete. The reasons for this setback are speculated.
