The Gold Hoarder has to be my absolute favourite boss fight in Sea of Thieves. The atmosphere of that room, and the ending to the Shores of Gold tall tales, is still to this day one of my favourite things in the game!

My favorite boss is kraken as its super uncommon for me to find it that just getting one makes it feel special. Then you have the black water the sucking and throw attack, it just drowns you sometimes, wrapping around your ship and all the other stuff. I just love how it actually changes the world around you and becomes the biggest threat once it spawns.
The Gold Hoarder without a doubt is my favorite of the boss line-up. Out of all the bosses, he is the one that I still remember the lore of as well as his amazing design. Kept me up a few nights drawing the dude, just so damn cool. Also like how his lore actually plays a big role in the story. The gold hoarder was once a pirate like any other who as time went on became more and more obsessed with gold. His obsession reached its climax when he journeyed with the Pirate king to the shores of gold. There he witnessed such an immense pile of gilded gold and sought to hoard it all for himself. He let his greed consume him and decided to blow out the tunnels to the vault room, sealing himself within along with the gold he cherished so dearly. Over time, he would grow more decrepit, losing his sense of self, his mind slowly melting away as he turned from flesh to bone, another skeleton like those we see on the seas. However, unlike most skeletons who lose their entire identity, the gold hoarders craving, his unwavering obsession with the gold could not be melted away. He would lose his name, his reputation, his entire life and the memories that followed, both good and bad, but he would never let go of that love for glittering gold. The gold hoarder shows us the effects of long lasting greed, leading one’s entire identity to be overwritten by a lust for gold. A brilliant villain, maybe not an antagonistic one, but a great one.
I love the ghost captain from the 3rd Pirates Life tall tale. In Isla Tesoro I think it is. He didn’t even mention that one, and he does qualify under his criteria, as he does have original voice lines.
Probally Warden Chi... He got the best voicelines in the game... With his "Fly away like a littel bug" and his ego with "I WAS WINNING... I WAS WINNING" He also got the best look in the game and he is the only Chinese character in Sot.. ❤
i know its an odd one, but the like giant ocean crawler is a personal favorite of mine as it looks like a giant mutated crab and does a lot of damage, appreciate the work

My favorite sea of thieves boss is Graymarow. Fotd is fun and it is always nerve racking knowing that everyone know where you are and that you have a lot of loot.

The best boss in my opinion is still the Burning Heart ship from Battle with The Burning Blade. When ever that ship pops out of hiding I still feel a slight unease feeling. I love the ship design and how she sails too

My favourite boss would probably be graymarrow, but because of kegs the fights take no time at all. So I'll have to go with the gold hoarder just for the amazing design.
I think mine is the IRL graymarrow ( not the one in the fort of the damed). It felt good to kick his but, after what he did to the crew of the Morning Star.

my favourite boss is probably the real graymarrow, (not fotd one), the one in revenge ifbthe morningstar. I have good memories findinghim on Lone Cove then fighting him with my friends. Fun times 😄
My favorite boss used to be the Kraken (I mean look how adorable its face is) until that stupid thing messed up my pvp fight. Now I have deep hatred towards it and takes the ashen key master the number 1 spot. I mean it is just some free doubloons and sounds way better than ashen guardian, what else do you want?
