I believe the ending of Without Limits was much better, (Bowerman's eulogy was some of Hollywood's best work) and that I really can't see R Lee Ermy as Bowerman but nonetheless I truly enjoyed Prefontaine and thought Jared Leto was an excellent Pre. They were both two very different movies and focused on different aspects of Pre's life. I would recommend both to anyone.
I am a junior in high school. I have always been mocked on, humiliated, and laughed at. I'm 5'6 105 lbs. and really cocky. My first year running was sophomore year when I went from 0- best in my team in cross country. I almost made it to the California state meet but missed by 1 spot. I didn't care much for track, but starting my xc year I had run a 15:15 3 mile alone the whole race and could have gone sub 15 if I had competition. I was stopped short with my injury of my dumb coach who decided to have me run a duel meet against a team that was a contender for league champ. I hadn't run in 8 days because I had come up with the flu. I had put 85 mile weeks in the offseason to be stopped short of a error from my coach. I truly will run in pres name. One a side note when I ran CIF it was a mediocre effort because being my first qualifier to state I managed to stay with the seniors up to 85% of the whole race and ended up dying in the final stretch. In that year I had broken 2 course records also.
very true, but it looks like the test results were not accurate. Likely was under the influence, but what really got him was the speed and corners on his route. He lived his life like he ran- fast and hard. It cost him his life.
Idk man its kinda true. Maybe not the whole black guys with basketball shoes dunking, save that for 1-10 of espns top 10 of the week. Hes kinda right, I have never seen a runnning commercial this inspirational.

I found his grave in the Hendrick Park, Eugene Oregon and at first I did not know who he was but with a little of google I found he was a hero.
