The comment got more likes than the video itself and the drummer was sending mean remarks to people critizing the song and since the comment got so many likes, they deleted the guys comment.

Let me say I don't care for deathcore but i always give it a fair chance. Suicide silence has never been my cup of tea, I think of them as a one hit wonder band with that You only live once song. But fuck that new song is a blatant rip off of other bands styles. You can't get upset for people pointing that out.

the song begins okay, and the screaming is less than desirable, but when the "to give" part, or better known as the "tehee" it sounded like a tone deaf kid was trying to sing his highest notes. at least the rest of the cleans sound like Korn but even still they sound like a 13 year old singing in his bedroom with a brush

it's bad to hardcore fans of their music, to just drastically change your sound like that is going to piss a lot of people off. I'm not even a hardcore fan of Sucide Silence and mostly listen to Metalcore stuff like killswitch engage, Polaris, and even then I really disliked their songs Doris and Silence, because I used to know that when I was going to put a track of suicide silence on, i'd be hearing those screeching highs, demonic lows. nasty sounding guitars., and that's why I enjoyed listening to it every now and then depending on my mood... these two songs... in my opinion. just sound horrible not just because of the drastic change of sound... but... i mean... because it genuinely suck...
Chance T Whaley preach man. The only reason people actually don't like it is because it's cool to hate it. Everyone hates things cuz its supposedly cool. It's annoying as all hell. I actually took the time to listen to the album a couple times and actually enjoyed the whole thing. Sure it wasn't as good as other albums but it was still pretty damn good

OneSickDrummer EDDIE IS APPARENTLY IN ALL SHALL PERISH, he got fired from the band then rejoined after the old drummer who got kicked out for not wanting to tour matt kuykendall sued the only remaining founding member mike tiner for rights to the name, mike tiner is all shall perish like mitch is suicide silence, asp is literally a band of people who got kicked out of the band, eddie is a fucking goof
Actually All Shall perish is entirely made out of its founding members again now as well as Eddie in addition and without Mike Tiner sadly. But considering he is just the bass player and the guitars were what mattered the most, thats not much of a problem. ASP is now more itself than it has ever been since Awaken the Dreamers.
Yea its founding members who either got kicked out or left the band. Matt got kicked out for not wanting to tour then years later sued mike who was the only founding member remaining for rights to the name all shall perish and stupidly won. Maybe he came up with the name but essentially left when he didn't want to tour, forced the band to kick him out like when eddie joined ss, eddie made them kick him out because he put asp on halt. Tiner, pierce and artuso were all shall perish and now none of them are even in it. Ben orum is the man and was there for every album and left on good terms, deserves to be there for sure. Fuck eddie he fucked the band and left like a bitch then fucked ss, matt got the boot then sued like a bitch fuck him, adam Pierce fucking sick and got screwed over, same with artuso. Storey is good and didnt leave on bad terms its cool he is back, but betit and russo havent been in the band since hmr in 2003 so who knows how that is going to go. Just the bass player? Guitars what matters most? He is a fucking sick bass player and yea bass matters just as much, we will see how they sound without him. They are my favorite band next to bdm, im pissed about the whole situation,

This was just painful to watch. The only thing worse than having one of your favorites bands release a disappointing album, is watching them try to be clever or funny while people express legitimate criticism.

I listend to Doris again. I'm all for change and I like metal with clean vocals but the vocals weren't good :/ good guitar work though. Ive always loved the riffs that ss makes. hopefully the rest of the album will have better songs

Whoever said "deathcore is shit because it's not real death metal," needs to lighten up. That's why it's called deathCORE!!! Mix of death metal with hardcore/metalcore. That's like saying sludge metal isn't real doom metal. That's why it's called SLUDGE!!! That said, as long as they don't abandon the signature sound, I can appreciate some clean vocals. Just, have some legit deathcore singles too to let us know whether all the music will have cleans or not.

Y'all should take these comments into constructive criticism. Honestly, the song isn't completely terrible, but it still is and it has the same talent level as a beginner metal band. As a musician myself, I always listen to what others have to say about my work to improve it. Y'all should do the same and instead of bashing on the grammar of these comments, use your context clues to understand what exactly the fan means by their perspective. Rock on, guys and if you're going to explore and follow trends of new age metal, do so with your creative minds. Put more thought into your songs. This one, honestly, needs to be cleaned up. Why you decided to put it out on your new album is beyond me.

Honestly if Suicide Silence were just like, "Yes, we acknowledge that we are going a new direction with our music and trying something completely different. We apologize to those fans of ours who do not agree with our decision to do so, but this is what we feel we need to do creatively at this time. We appreciate your understanding and ask that you keep an open mind", then I would totally respect them for it and have no problem with any of this.
However, it looks like it took me two minutes of consideration to think of a better response than five guys put together were able to the entire time they were writing a whole album.
Instead they're wasting their time making disparaging remarks to their hurt and upset fans. Fuck these guys and their sophomoric attitudes, I have zero respect for them and I'm certain that the future commercial failure of this project will speak for itself. Every band has a weird album that never should have happened.
Unfortunately SS are really digging their own grave with this one, and it seems all too clear that their epitaph already reads "DIED NOVEMBER 1st 2012".
