  • In the final part of our summer trip we head out to the Grossglockner High Alpine road & a beautiful forest walk in the Austrian Alps.
The Grossglockner high alpine road is a much easier drive than the Vrsic pass we did in our first video and we would tackle it in a motorhome next time. Despite Dougs aversion to heights we thoroughly enjoyed it.
You can join us on a nice calming forest walk in the Austrian alps to blow away the cobwebs the next day. The Austrian mountains never fail to astound us with their beauty.

Loved this video! Thank you very much! The Grossglockner road is still as magnificent as I remember it and you have captured the majesty of the mountains/landscape perfectly! Yes, Austria is always worth a visit :) I come from Austria but now live in South Africa! I have really enjoyed all your videos so far! Thanks again!

The footage really captures the majesty of those peaks. And watching through the windscreen makes me hold my breath! Such an extraordinary blend of rock and water and alpine flowers. Once again that drone did its stuff like a pro. Gorgeous!

Yes i think the artist was having a dig at everyone for polluting the area and causing global warming, whilst doing exactly that himself! 🤷‍♀️

We stayed in Allas near unter sagritz
The walk was above the house line at Allas in the woodland behind. In the first video (th-cam.com/video/QPt5WPAbxps/w-d-xo.html) we visited a waterfall on the opposite side of the valley. There are lots of walks and waterfalls in the area. It’s stunningly beautiful.
