can you compare triton method cost to that of water changes on next video. my clown anemone tank does extremely well with HW salt and small.water changes
I bought the Tunze care magnet cleaner strong 2 weeks ago and today noticed the inside magnet plastic coating is split and rust appearing ! after two weeks !! Would not buy again , i have a flipper max on another tank for 2 years , no issues
This seems highly unusual for the Tunze magnets. If you reach out to Roger over at Tunze, I have no doubt that he'll get you taken care of! Tunze - 512-833-7546 tunze@sbcglobal.net
these are way over-rated. The flipper is a much better scraper Yes this is good for coraline but other than that its pretty crap. You can still scratch glass with them and because they are so powerful they really do cause deep scratches. They sink in a split second and can easily damage anything they fall on. They are a pain to get round corners compared to the flipper. The blue bits on the dry side start to rub against the glass which sounds like youre scratching it. The plastic blades arent held on strongly enough so when it does fall the blades come off and you have to put your arm in the tank to retrieve. The long version is too strong for my 12mm glass and the shape of them makes them incredibly hard to hold and manouvre. I have used the Long, Strong and Nano so im speaking from experience. The flipper is silky smooth in comparison and way easier to hold. They are kind of buoyant so if you do loose the wet side it kind of hovers in place and doesnt fall damaging corals. The padded side is very good at cleaning daily light green film and the blade side does do a decent job of coraline.
I hate the flipper you need two times more with it, better a magnet that have the soft and blade on the same side . So if the tunze and flipper are bad wich buy?
@@tomg5405 I've used the large magfloat and the tunze and the magfloat has its advantages for sure but it also scratches glass very easily. Microscopic piece of sand will fuck up your tank.
I have had two of theese and they both broke after a short while. The magnets pushed through the plastic.
Can it go around the corners or do you have to remove it and place it in other side
What is the purpose of the little blue plastic piece on the larger scraper?

Does the wet side float or sink?

@@tomg5405 Those types of magnets will tend to collect small grains of sand and scratch the glass.
@@OriginalMindTrick wich one you use?
