Candice Owens is speaking at the 2024 Catholic Identity Conference and has just announced she recently was baptised into the church. Russell Brand prayed the rosary in front of his 11M audience on X a few days ago. 12,000 confirmations in France this Easter, a record number. Something is definitely going on!
Koreans are converting to Catholicism in mass numbers. In Asia, this is a big deal. Only the Philippines is the majority Christian country in that part of the world
I work at an all boys high school in a very Catholic city. 80% of the students are already Catholic. We had 6 of our students get Baptized this Easter. That's crazy good, all things considered.

I came into the Church last Christmas Eve after 40 years as a Southern Baptist. I can tell you that I think it's the Internet, podcasts, and just so many Catholics, and some celebrity Catholics, out there being bold with their faith. I was continually getting frustrated with my denomination how they kept moving the goalposts of what we stood for. When I learned they were ordaining women as Pastors, that was it. There were several other factors going on in my life, but I started searching. Not all at once, but over about a 6 month period. I watched tons of TH-cam videos from Scott Hahn, Steve Ray, Jimmy Akins, and Keith Nester. I was blown away by the reverence that Catholics had for God and sacred things. I was also blown away with how Catholics dealt with subjects like possession and demonic influence. My Baptist upbringing, any talk of the devil was strictly forbidden, as they say it as giving the devil too much focus. But I had an experience when I was stationed overseas in the Army, where I saw what I can only describe as demonic possession. The demon spoke to me and knew things about me that would just not be possible for the possessed person to know. So I became very interested in Exorcists. I started listening to many of the Exorcists Priests that have TH-cam channels or podcasts. I suspect there's a lot of non-denominational or Protestant viewers, so the Priests would always give advice to the non-Catholics, telling them that without the Sacraments and the Church, there is is no salvation. I began to realize that I was banking on an Evangelical myth called "Once Saved, Always Saved" for my salvation. I did not regularly attend church, I didn't read or study the Bible regularly, and prayer was spotty at best, usually when things were bad or I needed God's help. But I had faith, which I thought was enough to earn me a spot in heaven. Then I started reading verses like James 2:26 for myself. Faith without works is dead. Then I began to read John chapter 6 and the Bread of Life discourse. I clearly understood that I needed the Eucharist in me in order to have eternal life. Finally, Matthew 16:18-19 was the verse that took me over the edge, and I believed that this was and is the one, true, Catholic and apostolic Church commissioned by Christ, through St. Peter in 33AD, and the gates of hell cannot prevail against it. Then I fell on my knees and cried, asking God to make me Catholic. I emailed my local Parish the next day and started RCIA. Initially, I wasn't sure about Mary and all the other "Catholic Stuff", but I said I'm going to take it on faith for now. Either it's all true, or none of it is true. I put my faith in the Magisterial teachings of the Church and I have slowly went from disbelief to having a devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Sorry for being so long-winded in my testimony, but there are countless others I hear with similar stories. Protestants and Evangelicals can no longer cover for their lies from 500 years ago. Meanwhile, the Catholic Church is an open book. They invite you to read all you can and test them. So I think we have reached a tipping point in society where the blinders of Protestantism can no longer hide the truth of the Catholic Church. People are deciding for themselves that following a church that has no authority to interpret scripture is a dead end, that only ends up with churches that fracture and split even more. Try to find any two Protestants that agree on anything. Jesus prayed that we would all be as one, as He, the Father, and the Holy Spirit are one.
Thank you for taking the time to write and share all your experience and your journey to the Catholic Church. It helped me and I will send it to other people.
Even thou we are among the most majority muslim country in the world, Catholic Church in Indonesia is flourishing. This Easter, Catholic Church also received a lot of adult baptism mostly from Protestantism, Islam, then other religion like Hinduism and Buddhism. The Catholic schools, universities, hospitals, orphanages, Social Services play a significant role in attracting people to join the Church.
Can you give more details on the role of Catholic social services in sharing/spreading the faith? I hope & pray that all these conversions are sincere, rather than motivated by worldly benefits. Glory to God
@@isaiah3872 most if not all are sincere. You dont have to be a catholic to be in a catholic school, hospital, university, ect. You also dont have to be a catholic to recieve social services(at least in indonesia, because i dont know about other countries)
I was atheist, satanist, all over the place. Had a ton of books on the occult and witchcraft dabbling for 20 years since a teen. I've had paranormal experiences. 95% of them were scary and unpleasant. One almost killed me recently. I'd been curious about Christianity for a while after looking into everything else and decided to ask Jesus to help me quit drinking and to fast starting on Lent this year. Well it has almost been 3 months of no drinking and I went 19 days no food. Overnight I had no desire to eat or get wasted, which is a miracle because I've always said "I'm gonna stop tomorrow" then it never happened. The other 'deities' I tried to ask for help always needed offerings in return and never actually helped me. Jesus did it instantly. I owe Him big time. I've also noticed God the Father every day in coincidences, Mary's voice as well. I really hope I can become Catholic and be accepted into an RCIA. That's what I pray for every day. I'm weird with a background of sin but hopefully I can get that sanctifying grace and become a pure temple and conduit for the Holy Spirit.
My RCIA class which were baptized this past Easter vigil was the biggest the church has ever had. Literally not enough room for all of us. I live in the American south (Charlotte diocese).
In our diocese, we had 600 catechumen adult converts this vigil, who were baptized, confirmed. That's not including all the other protestant converts who had already a christian baptism, and all the children, infants. The real number is in the several thousand
Just joined the Church this past Easter Vigil. I am 32 years old. Six of us in total in our small country parish. The Elect in my Diocese filled our local Cathedral during the Rite of the Elect. I don't even know how many of us there were... 150-200? Being Baptized, Confirmed and receiving First Holy Communion was the pinnacle of my life. No degree, certificate or secular achievement even compares or comes close. The RCIA process took me 10 years to complete. I was young and dumb back in 2014 and it was my biggest disappointment... dropping out of RCIA classes. But it was God's plan for me to finish in 2024 and with the parish I currently attend. I was raised in a Missionary/Southern Baptist family but I remember seeing St. John Paul II on television all the time, usually every morning it seems? Looking back I guess my mother enjoyed hearing about his life and achievements. I remember seeing St. Peter's Square and just being glued to all of it. So, I really have him to thank for my deep fascination and love for Catholicism. I confess it was shallow at first but grew deeper and deeper over time. I have never been closer to God than I am now. Along with my patron saint (Maximilian Kolbe) and my Guardian Angel I am living my faith daily. I hunger for Christ in the Eucharist. The Catholic Church is truly Christ's Holy Church on Earth. I absolutely find comfort in the structure and practices of the church vs. the secular world. It 100% gives me comfort in it's counter to our modern "culture". I am excited to be Catholic and excited to see new people coming to the Church! Praise the Lord!
You and other new members are the joy of the Church! We cradle Catholics are so edified and heartened by your presence with us. God be praised and may you go ever deeper - decades on and I’m astounded that the riches and depth of our faith are never exhausted! God bless you forever
Being a Catholic Christian is a rough ride. But there is no where else to go so all we can do is pick up our cross daily and follow Jesus. That means staying with the Catholic Church he made. God bless you for this very hopeful report.
I was born catholic and there was a time during my youth that I stayed away from church. But then I felt my life was empty, hard, and lonely. I came back to church when I was 32, and now in my 60s if I look back I realize that our Lord Jesus has done sooo many good things for me and my family. That is why I repeatedly advise my children that in any situation/condition to not ever stay away from Jesus.
Praise the Lord! My own reconversion was in 2021, after 20years away from the Church. I came back broken and afraid, and He made me so much more whole! Now I am completely in love with Jesus and His Church. I ledd my own children to their baptism. I managed to soften the heart of my husband, who is waiting for his faith to happen, but he really likes the Church now. And I'm getting educated as a catechist, and I can get my first two classes of students this summer. I pray I can get these baptised but not church going students before our Lord, and hopefully make them into real christians that keep coming after confirmation😊 Yes, things are really moving!
People are rejecting the madness in the secular world, culture wars/identity politics etc. The church is providing a counter cultural space for people, and it is beautiful to see ✝️🙂
I never get tired or can't get enough of SANE people that know and can see what I can. That's its getting crazier by the day. I live with a load of atheists (my family unfortunately 😢). So I need all the recognition I can get.
Not really? They have accepted trans for communion, godparents. Now allow gay couple blessings, etc. that’s cultural boot licking. Christ called us to be counter cultural.
I was received into the Catholic Church this year at the Easter vigil. Our Priest and Catechists told us the class was 4x the size of the average class over the last 2 decades. 20 people in total. I was an atheist for around 25 years before God called me. Anecdotally everything you’ve said in this video has been true from my point of view. God truly is great and He is working wonders in the world!
Indeed. One just have to look around to see that the world is falling apart. And suddenly you see this beacon of light and you just want to follow it. I used to live in a country where there were almost no Catholic churches, that broke my heart, now I've moved to anotber country where there are Catholic churches on every corner and I have the opportunity go to mass once a week, but if I could I would go every single day. I've never felt so happy.
If you were never baptized then can’t “come home.” You can’t come home to something you were never a part of. Hopefully Fisher Price Catholicism dies out with its hippie lingo, and real Catholicism returns.

My children were baptized, and received first communion & confirmation this Easter Vigil. I am a cradle Catholic, my mom would drag me to church every Sunday and made me do my sacraments. When I became an adult I didn’t marry until I was 35 and my mom always told me to marry in the church. Absolutely necessary. Once I had kids - I thought it was not necessary to baptize them like my mom did for me because I was very separated from God. I didn’t think bringing my kids into the church was priority. Boy was I wrong!! After 2020 and all of the trans stuff at schools I decided to start them into RCIA last year and they have learned so much! As well as myself 😊 we pray together and we go to church together. God has given us so much that I can’t describe. Our faith, our Catholic roots and traditions are the most important & valuable part of our lives. Worth more than anything else ✝️🤍
As a cradle Catholic, I have always found it encouraging to hear the details of those who convert to the Catholic faith. • In particular those who are well versed in scripture. They where honestly seeking truth and after having seen what the Catholic church actually teaches, they were moved to convert to Catholicism. Their zeal and conviction are encouraging! • Great video sir.

We are in the midst of a fierce spiritual battle - worldwide. May all lukewarm Catholics experience a true conversion of heart and become living examples of their faith. If society could only turn back to GOD, then law, order, morality, peace & prosperity will follow. Pray the rosary daily. "St Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle..." 🕯 †
I’m a former hardcore Reformed Calvinist evangelical who wanted to know what the early Church really believed and practiced. After almost three years of study and wrestling, I was confirmed at Easter Vigil 2023. Being a devout, faithful, engaged Catholic has always been hard, but it is especially countercultural in the west these days. But it is soooo worth the effort. Why do a lot of cradle Catholics leave and become evangelical? It’s easier. There are lot fewer moral and disciplinary demands on you in the Protestant world. Frankly, I think a lot of it is about sex and mortal sin. There are no mortal sins in Protestantism and you can easily find a Protestant church that will accept your divorce and remarriage without question. I happen to speak French, and can confirm what was presented here. I regularly pray the Rosary with a French apostolate group via TH-cam. There are regularly about 10k people praying live and thousands more after the video is posted. I’ve also learned the Rosary in Latin and I strongly encourage all Catholics to do so. There are TH-cam recordings of both Pope St. John Paul II and Pope Benedict leading Rosaries in Latin. It’s really amazing to pray the Rosary with one of those servants of Christ.
You never really learn the true gospel message, and I can assure you will never be settled spiritually. You will suppress your doubts, and be taken in by the religious paraphernalia. Your own History will have influenced your decision. Paul the apostle's life should be an inspiration on what Happens when Jesus Christ touches your Heart. When that happens you won't question the integrity of God's word it has cost the lives of too many good people who stood against the bloodlust of the Catholic Church. Read Isaiah 44 God is not confused. There is no back door into heaven. Praying to other Gods thinking they are deities from Christianity is from the pit of Hell. The trouble with you is you now have to look a the Bible as just another book.
@@whathappening5323did you yourself learn the true Gospel messages? From where you will get the true Gospel message? The answered is from the Catholic Church. Jesus Christ is the Head of the Catholic church because popes are the successors right from His Apostle Peter. No one can build the church but only God. Why nowadays there are thousand of churches were reject and against His church? John 10:9-10 - Jesus say "I am the door, if anyone enters by Me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life and have it abundantly". John 6:51 - Jesus say "I am the living bread which came down from heaven, if anyone eats of this bread he will live forever and the bread which I shall give for the life of the world is MY FLESH". Mathew 12:30 - Jesus say to all of us "he who is not with Me is against Me and he who does not gather with Me scatters". Luke 10:16 - Jesus told to His Apostles "he who hears you hears Me he who rejects you rejects Me he who rejects Me rejects Him who sent Me". Luke 10:19 - Jesus say to His Apostles "behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall hurt you". John 6:64-65 - Jesus say "but there are some of you that do not believe. For Jesus knew from the first who those were that not believe and who it was that betray Him. And He said, "this is why I told you that no one can come to Me unless it is granted him by the FATHER". Mark 13:5-6 - Jesus warned us "take heed that no one leads you astray. Many will come in My name, saying I am he and they will leads many astray". Mark 13:13 - Jesus told to His Apostles "and you will be hated by all for My name's sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved". Mark 13:22-23 - "false christs and false prophets will arise and show signs and wonders, to lead astray, if possible the elect. But take heed, I have told you all things beforehand".
@@marymargarette4289 You Don't believe in the authority of scipture. You substitute scripture for your claims of the supremacy of your Dogma. You believe in a stopover in purgatory, where You have been told you are stuffing for your sins. That takes some brainwashing to get that past a sane person. Show us where you find that lunacy in scripture. You quote a lot of good scripture particularly the last one. Which is very relevant to your position. Pauls talk about the different Jesus in 2 Corinthians 11 The CC Jesus is in no way represented by the Jesus of the Bible. Paul points that out in verses 2-3 when he uses the word ONE. Deo gratias! Frenchman here. There are many causes to such a rise, one of them being moral relativism. People are fed up of being told "everything is up to you", follow your own path", "there's neither good nor bad, what matters is you!". This is such a lie. As a reaction, people logically look for truth. They look for something that actually transcends them. Individualism has been strong since the 1970s, but we have figured out that individuals are pretty mediocre and that they need leadership, or else they are lost. "I am the good shepherd", said our Lord. Here in France, people are starting to realise that their ancestors (who were believers), weren't wrong. Eventually, this leads people to knock on our churches' doors. However, I must say our upcoming challenge is keeping people in the Church! Which is very tricky indeed given the cowardness of most of our clergy. Pray for us
Indeed as true followers and believers of Jesus it is our duty to witness , to evangelize our separated brethren help them realized the beauty of our catholic faith. Let's continue to pray and help our priests. God bless you
We have shortage of Priesthood eveywhere and the priests are overworked imagine getting up early for an early mass until late of the day and they are also on call anytime, if there are dying in the middle of the night who needed for confession and be anointed with holy oil, they will be there, visit the sick the dying the prisoners all those who needed spiritual help and then they have to study and think what the sermon will be according to the Gospel, God Bless our priest and lets pray for them as well, they are also very human like us carrying some of their own cross.
@@hynahammond5741 Being a priest is very demanding indeed. My comment regarding cowardness wasn't pointing at them but rather to our bishops. For example, access to abortion was recently made a constitutional right and the bishops were almost silent on the matter. They act more like diocese managers than as spiritual leaders.
I’m so glad the eldest Daughter of the Church is receiving so many converts!I love watching services at the beautiful French churches on feast days. The sacred music from the Christmas mass I watched last year was stunningly inspirational and uplifting, their choir dates back to the 12 th century. Even the services at humble locations always feature music that is beautifully moving, yet simple. I watch La Cuisine des Monasteres, the cooks are friars and nuns. My parents were born in Italy, but when it comes to Catholic worship, my heart belongs to France.
From Canada here. We had 8 converts during Easter vigil and I was so excited to see them. They were so happy to be baptized into the RCC and to be welcomed by brothers and sisters. Though a small a number, they were diverse in aspects of humanity. There was a Chinese, a Pakistani (or maybe Iranian), a mid-20s caucasian lady, an elder latino, etc... Even in our Sunday masses, I see a fair number of non-catholics who seemed to be trying to look into catholicism. Every type of person and from all walks of life are coming to Christ. Hallelujah! The Catholic Church is definitely growing, and the real crisis is the shortage and dwindling number of ordained priests. This is very alarming 🥺.
Yes it is true that is why we will not cease to pray to God to call for more priests though their is persecution happening today in the church. God bless you.
I know vocations were down for many years, but I'm recently hearing about a resurgence in vocations, both for priests and nuns. I was talking to a priest about a week ago, from a Norbertine Abbey here in California. He told me that all the seminarian slots at his seminary are full! They can't accept more than a dozen or so each year, and some are turned away (temporarily) to have them acquire either life experience or their Bachelor's degree first before entry into the seminary. He also told me that another seminary on the east side of the US is the same, full to capacity! Christ is King!
@@KarenSmith-r3z that's good news at least. Our archdiocese has 650K Catholics and only 298 priests... so that's roughly 2,200 per priest. @@Benjamin-David rational Christianity is the ability to rationally explain Christianity on multiple levels. I'm a cradle Catholic who just recently became more involved in the faith. I think listening to Fr. Mike Schmitz "Catechism in a Year" has been really instrumental in my return. I just started praying the rosary daily over the past 7 months. I went to reconciliation a few months ago after decades of avoidance, and am making an effort to go monthly. Other wonderful changes have happened to me since I've opened my life to Christ. God snagged me and is reeling me in! 🙏❤️🙏
As someone who is born Catholic, it's only last month that I've been taking my Catholic faith seriously because I want to learn why do protestants and a few Orthodox attack the faith I was born into. I'm still learning about the Catholic faith but what convinced me that it's true is the miracles of the Eucharist and the rosary. Regardless, I'm happy that more and more people are joining the faith.
I want my husband to join from Anglicanism, and he hasn’t yet. It’s very saddening. I would live us to have a fully Catholic marriage. I am thankful, though, that he allowed me to have our children received into the Catholic Church after they were baptized in the Anglican Church. They’ve now completed first reconciliation (and go to confession regularly), first holy communion (and receive on Sundays), and my eldest is in grade 8 and will receive confirmation in May (my youngest is in grade 5, so no confirmation yet). Although I feel deeply saddened that my husband hasn’t converted yet and would welcome prayers, I’m so thankful that he agreed to let our children become Catholic.
You guys should leave your spouses alone. The more you push, the more you reinforce their resistance. Instead, pray and offer sacrifices for them. Be the good Catholic example they need and be there to answer their questions (as it says in the video, build up tbe respect). But don't push for a commitment. I was baptised as an infant, but never confirmed as my parents are cradle Catholics. I am proud to say however that I was confirmed into the Catholic Church in the Easter vigil this year
I’ve been a solid Protestant Christian for decades and employed at my local church 21+ years. Through my daughter’s queries about Anglicanism, it prompted me to investigate (to make sure she wasn’t going sideways lol) and it led ME to Catholicism. I was told last summer that I didn’t have to attend RCIA but I could just join and be confirmed bc of my background. I chose to go through RCIA and make sure I could learn all I could, though I longed for the Eucharist. I’m so glad I waited. All of the Rites, the making new friends, and the beauty of the Easter Vigil made the waiting so sweet. I’m 64 years old and like a kid in a candy store. Bringing my Protestant exuberance to the church in hopes others will see what the church has to offer and that next Easter will again be a sign of God’s drawing His people to the One Holy and Apostolic Church.
What kind of candy store to you think you have entered.? In 1507, one Thomas Norris was burnt alive for the testimony of the truth of the gospel, at Norwich. This man was a poor, inoffensive, harmless person, but his parish priest conversing with him one day conjectured he was a Lollard. In a consequence of this supposition, he gave information to the bishop, and Norris was apprehended. In 1508, one Lawrence Guale, who had been kept in prison two years, was burnt alive at Salisbury, for denying the real presence in the sacrament. It appeared, that this man kept a shop in Salisbury and entertained some Lollards in his house; for which he was informed against to the bishop; but he abode by his first testimony, and was condemned to suffer as a heretic. A pious woman was burnt at Chippen Sudburne, by order of the chancellor, Dr. Whittenham. After she had been consumed in the flames, and the people were returning home, a bull broke loose from a butcher and singling out the chancellor from all the rest of the company, he gored him through the body, and on his horns carried his entrails. This was seen by all the people, and it is remarkable, that the animal did not meddle with any other person whatever. October 18, 1511, William Succling and John Bannister, who had formerly recanted, returned again to the profession of the faith, and were burnt alive in Smithfield. In the year 1517, one John Brown, (who had recanted before in the reign of Henry VII. and borne a fagot round St. Paul's,) was condemned by Dr. Wonhaman, archbishop of Canterbury, and burnt alive at Ashford. Before he was chained to the stake, the archbishop Wonhaman, and Yester, bishop of Rochester, caused his feet to be burnt in a fire till all the flesh came off, even to the bones. This was done in order to make him again recant, but he persisted in his attachment to the truth to the last. Much about this time one Richard Hunn, a merchant tailor of the city of London, was apprehended, having refused to pay the priest his fees for the funeral of a child; and being conveyed to the Lollards' Tower, in the palace of Lambeth, was there privately murdered by some of the servants of the archbishop.[190] September 24, 1518, John Stilincen, who had before recanted, was apprehended, brought before Richard Fitz-James, bishop of London, and on the 25th of October was condemned as a heretic. He was chained to the stake in Smithfield amidst a vast crowd of spectators, and sealed his testimony to the truth with his blood. He declared that he was a Lollard, and that he had always believed the opinions of Wickliffe; and although he had been weak enough to recant his opinions, yet he was now willing to convince the world that he was ready to die for the truth. In the year 1519, Thomas Mann was burnt in London, as was one Robert Celin, a plain honest man for speaking against image worship and pilgrimages. Much about this time, was executed in Smithfield, in London, James Brewster, a native of Colchester. His sentiments were the same as the rest of the Lollards, or those who followed the doctrines of Wickliffe; but notwithstanding the innocence of his life, and the regularity of his manners, he was obliged to submit to papal revenge. During this year, one Christopher, a shoemaker, was burnt alive at Newbury, in Berkshire, for denying those popish articles which we have already mentioned. This man had got some books in English, which were sufficient to render him obnoxious to the Romish clergy. In 1521, Thomas Bernard was burnt alive at Norwich, for denying the real presence. About the beginning of the year 1522, Mr. Wrigsham, a glover; Mr Langdale, a hosier; Thomas Bond, Robert Harchets, and William Archer, shoemaker, with Mrs. Smith, a widow, were apprehended on Ash Wednesday and committed to prison. After examination, the bishop of Litchfield declared them to be heretics, and they were all condemned and burnt alive at Coventry. Robert Silks, who had been condemned in the bishop's court as a heretic, made his escape out of prison, but was taken two years afterward, and brought back to Coventry, where he was burnt alive.-The sheriffs always seized the goods of the martyrs for their own use, so that their wives and children were left to starve. In 1532, Thomas Harding, who with his wife, had been accused of heresy, was brought before the bishop of Lincoln, and condemned for denying the real presence in the sacrament. He was then chained to a stake, erected for the purpose, at Chesham in the Pell, near Botely; and when they had set fire to the fagots, one of the spectators dashed out his brains with a billet. The priests told the people, that whoever brought fagots to burn heretics would have an indulgence to commit sins for forty days. During the latter end of this year, Worham, archbishop of Canterbury, apprehended one Hitten, a priest at Maidstone; and after he had been long tortured in prison, and several times examined by the archbishop, and Fisher, bishop of Rochester, he was condemned as a heretic, and burnt alive before the door of his own parish church. Thomas Bilney, professor of civil law at Cambridge, was brought[191] before the bishop of London, and several other bishops, in the Chapter house, Westminster, and being several times threatened with the stake and flames, he was weak enough to recant; but he repented severely afterward. For this he was brought before the bishop a second time, and condemned to death. Before he went to the stake he confessed his adherence to those opinions which Luther held; and, when at it, he smiled, and said, "I have had many storms in this world, but now my vessel will soon be on shore in heaven." He stood unmoved in the flames, crying out, "Jesus, I believe;" and these were the last words he was heard to utter. A few weeks after Bilney had suffered, Richard Byfield was cast into prison, and endured some whipping, for his adherence to the doctrines of Luther: this Mr. Byfield had been some time a monk, at Barnes, in Surry, but was converted by reading Tindal's version of the New Testament. The sufferings this man underwent for the truth were so great, that it would require a volume to contain them. Sometimes he was shut up in a dungeon, where he was almost suffocated, by the offensive and horrid smell of filth and stagnated water. At other times he was tied up by the arms, till almost all his joints were dislocated. He was whipped at the post several times, till scarce any flesh was left on his back; and all this was done to make him recant. He was then taken to the Lollard's Tower in Lambeth palace, where he was chained by the neck to the wall, and once every day beaten in the most cruel manner by the archbishop's servants. At last he was condemned, degraded, and burnt in Smithfield. The next person that suffered was John Tewkesbury. This was a plain simple man, who had been guilty of no other offence against what was called the holy mother church, than that of reading Tindal's translation of the New Testament. At first he was weak enough to abjure, but afterwards repented, and acknowledged the truth. For this he was brought before the bishop of London, who condemned him as an obstinate heretic. He suffered greatly during the time of his imprisonment, so that when they brought him out to execution he was almost dead. He was conducted to the stake in Smithfield, where he was burned, declaring his utter abhorrence of popery, and professing a firm belief that his cause was just in the sight of God.

I attend the largest parish in Fort Worth Diocese and during the Easter vigil it took over an hour to get through baptisms. It was amazing. And all we could mumble to each other in the crowd was just how many more people were coming into the church compared to last year.
As a cradle Catholic, I 100% agree that in general, we're not sharing our faith. At age 63, I've just started being more comfortable with opening up about what I believe. Thanks to my mother, who always prayed for her children to return to the faith. Now, I'm offering the same prayers for my son and daughter in law. 🙏✝️🙏
I used to have sacred artwork at my desk when I worked in Corporate, of the Blessed Mother. A visitor remarked he was impressed that no one had told me to take it down. I said, I wish someone would try!” It’s my first amendment right. Now I work at a non-profit and keep a small painting of the Annunciation at my desk. I don’t know if I’ve made any converts but at least I” m not invisible.
Love this, thank you ☺️ God is moving indeed! What parish did you go to in Texas? Our very dear evangelical friend who lives very close to where you used to is tiptoeing his way towards the church 🙌🏻 he is reading the lambs supper by Scott Hahn, and keep sending me articles from Catholic answers that are blowing his mind ✝️🙏❤️
I went to St Jude in Allen tx, it's a big parish with a lot going, but not very traditional, not bad just not traditional, St Michael's in Mckinney is also another good parish and alittle more traditional. Neither have the TLM thou.
@heidigabalski6335 Bryan should've said Allen, not Athens. If your friend has a traditional bent, St. Gabriel in McKinney is great. The RCIA program at St. Jude is good though. Another option would be St. Francis of Assissi in Frisco if that is closer to them. - Bryan's wife Erin
Also, what about all the ex-Catholics that leave the church and then come back to it later in life after life experience and maturity? No one tracks these numbers- the media only likes to talk about the large number of people leaving the church (mostly young adult) but they ignore those that come back later in life
Catholics need to know the faith and read the Bible and know that our wonderful Catholic Church is the only church established by my Lord and savior Jesus Christ and that the Catholic Church gave the Bible to the world!! I don’t worry to much about what happens in the Vatican because there are and have been people trying to destroy the church from within from the beginning but as long as I follow the teachings of Christ and the doctrine though for the past 21 centuries I know my Lord Jesus Christ will prevail over his church!!
I'm 66, and I was born into evangelical Protestantism. Late in life I walked away, was received into the Eastern Orthodox Church, and never looked back. My niece followed, was received into the Roman Catholic Church, met and married her husband there, and never looked back. My little Antiochian parish is growing exponentially, with young families, but particularly with young men. Some are Nones, some are nihilists, and some are disaffected Protestants. But the number of non religious backgrounds is noticeable. We're now at a point where we need to expand in order to compensate for this growth. The Byzantine Catholic Church in my city is seeing this phenomena, as are the few TLM Roman Catholic Churches as well. Among the many reasons cited is a longing for absolutes, for heritage, for tradition, for patristics, and particularly with young men, a dislike for feminized Christology prevalent in evangelicalism.
Is in the crisis that God make us wake up our conscience and make us feel the emptiness of this world without Him, and that void is what make us long for the love, safety, peace and the good men was made for. We are his creatures and He know and love us better than anyone, and He will always be there for us, we just need to reach at him and let Him embrace us.🙏
It does. I think it was was Benedict who made a Church document on the dangers and the potential of social media back when it was starting. But being aware of potential and tech savvy enough to use it are two different things. We DO have word on fire though
Cheltenham England here, St Gregory the great RCC seating for 400 full every week people standing in the entrance hall and aisles young children, so wonderful. The children's liturgy is so hart worming.
I do not take offense at "cradle Catholics" as I am one. I did venture into other religion but all they do is bash the Catholic church which made me look back and study my Catholic faith and found the TRUE church!
Exactly what happened to me. The Protestants did nothing but bash the Catholic Church, which made me curious and instead of becoming protestant I came back into the Catholic Church.
I gratefully and officially became Catholic this past Easter vigil. My conversion started over a year ago when I first started to get the calling. Jesus kept coming into my thoughts and he was popping up everywhere in day to day life as if to remind me that he’s there waiting. Finally I started to pray to him throughout the day and I would say, ‘alright Jesus I believe in you and I know you’re trying to get my attention. I will follow you anywhere, just reveal yourself to me and point the way.’ He led me straight to and without question home to the Catholic Church. This is huge for me because I was raised a Jehovah’s Witness and grew up with constant propaganda about how evil the Catholic church is. I know most Protestant denominations are sort of anti Catholic but the JW’s are extremely anti Catholic.. I’ve been thinking and saying the same thing as you because I’ve been seeing so many enter the church. Jesus is gathering his flock and those that belong to him know his voice.
I listened to an interview with Jeff Cavins a while back. He and Father Mike had recorded the Bible in a year with Ascension the year before it launched. Then once it launched he had forgotten all about it because of everything else he had going on, thought it was going to be a tiny thing. One day he got the call from - I can't remember who - that Bible in a Year was number one. He was like, really? Over all religious podcasts? And they were like, No, over ALL podcasts. I think that really helped get an explosion going, when people hear the Bible and see where Catholics get "our funny traditions" from and realize this is something real. But of course ALL of that is in God's hands. I've also been with a nation wide team that prays monthly over zoom since August 2022 for the Eucharistic Revival that we are in the middle of (that will have a moment this summer with the Eucharistic Pilgrimage taking place throughout the Nation and the National Eucharistic Congress. I think we're also seeing fruits of that. God is seriously doing something ❤️
To live, keep and spread the faith, you need interior life. Dom Jean-Baptiste Chautard's classic The Soul of the Apostolate is a good resource for understanding, developing and growing in the Interior life. The first Christians practiced it.
WhatTruth? Did these people find the Truth of what the RCC is all about? This is just a small part of what happened to those who didn't agree with the DOGMA of the catholic church In 1507, one Thomas Norris was burnt alive for the testimony of the truth of the gospel, at Norwich. This man was a poor, inoffensive, harmless person, but his parish priest conversing with him one day conjectured he was a Lollard. In consequence of this supposition he gave information to the bishop, and Norris was apprehended. I joined this Easter as well, into the Ft Worth Diocese. I was raised none religious, became a christian in Jr High, but was never really committed, fell away and became agnostic-atheist for 20 years, became a christian again, but was lost until i decided to attend a Mass, and was home.
It's a beautiful thing. But the prosecution of the church is coming. Those who endure to the end will be saved. Stay strong in your newfound faith, even under the prosecution of death.
I also left protestantism about a year ago, I understood that catholicism is the only church who can actually have a TRUE response in this secular time of relativism. Moreover it is the Church founded by our Lord Christ. Viva Cristo REY!!
My husband was baptized this Easter! Mainly cause he found nothing being an evangelical! Our church went from less than 10 on easter vigil to 30 something on easter! Almost 500 in the whole dioses (spelling). A true revival!
Thank you to our host for this positive news. Hope this trend continues. Easter Sunday here was well attended (pre Pandemic levels). Here is Hallandale Beach, FL
I get that Francis is a problem for a lot of people, but it's sad when people can't celebrate the new comers like myself because of strife over the liturgy concerning new converts. I look forward for the Lord to hold our Pope tightly, and continue to maintain the authority of the seat of Peter.
From Mark Wahlberg being very open to his millions of followers o his faith, to Jordan Peterson's wife converting and im sure in time God will reach to him as well, to Russel Brand praying the Rosary and now Candace Owens converting as well. People are turning to Jesus Christ and the Church he found. Something is certainly happening. All glory to God.
First video of yours and I'm so happy to have found your channel! Cradle Catholic here and found a new desire to learn of our Faith! Must credit so many CONVERTS to my new found energy and evangelization! Excited to listen to your conversion story! New Sub, Kristy from Missouri :)
Thank you for giving this information. I do pray every day for someone to see the light and discover the truth. Those who find it , they are humble...they see in the Church it's originality, authenticity and it's holiness. Thank God 🙏🙏🙏
You like the blessings Francis did recently? Our diocese is growing as well our priest said yesterday, but our ordinations is not. Please pray for vocarions to the priesthood.
My sister and I were confirmed this Easter!!! Thanks be to God, I’m in southern Oregon. My Parrish had 16 my sister’s Parrish had 6 and she’s in Big Lake, Alaska.
My church is busting at the seams! 5 masses on Sundays and 2 services daily and confessions daily considering we're just in the outskirts of Nashville! It's a good thing but something is happening! We are building a new church because of this! And more younger parishioners at Adoration. College kids saying the rosary in latin!
God is working. During the pandemic people were watching youtube and thank goodness. We also have had some actors step up and making commercials and such for the Hallow app ie: Mark Wahlberg, Jonathon Roumien from the Chosen, etc etc. Add in Bishop Robert Barron, Fr Mike Schmitz, Fr Chris Alar, etc. We are also getting better at apologetics thanks to Catholic Answers and such. Keep praying for the conversion of sinners! I am a cradle Catholic and was well catechized, I still had chosen to not practice for 20 years. then again for 5 years. Doesn’t mean I didn’t believe like a Catholic, I just didn’t practice. It is ok, I am back for good. There a lot of reasons people leave, divorce-being one, the pedophilia scandel, birth control, etc. Just keep praying for them.
This is happening. Our parish had a record number welcomed into the Church this Easter, with another large family baptized this past Sunday. We're talking nearly 50 people in a small parish. The Holy Spirit is at work.
I’m a 76 year old cradle Catholic and have watched what has happened to the Church. I hope you’re right. One thing I’d like to know is how many accept the teaching about birth control. When Pope Paul VI promulgated Humanae Vitae that was what really set Catholics off and I think showed who was faithful and who was worldly. So many repudiated the teaching.
I came home in nov 2021, age 47. I did a vasectomy after my fourth child when I was 34. Thought it was perfectly al right. But as soon as I read Humane Vitae, I thought: this is beautiful! Wonderful. Love it. A master piece! Of course every sincere Catholic must embrace it.
Why is that your business? The doctrine is clear and it’s between them, God and their confessor. Natural family planning is allowed quite effective but I guess you can still try to judge others by their family size if you really feel it’s your business and you need to know. You are quite right that every week harping on birth control caused the exodus. Perhaps if homilies had talked about other rampant sins like gossiping, the pride of judging others, unforgiveness, false piety , hypocrisy etc those who were sinning in that regard wouldn’t have felt so singled out. Or better yet maybe if they had talked about Christ at least as often people would have gotten to know him and would have in their hearts felt the truth of the doctrine on BC. I had no problem with the doctrine but it was ridiculous how it was constantly harped on. My pastor didn’t even talk about the gospel reading and basically obsessed over that and dress code so nobody learned about Jesus in church.
@@SL-es5kb You don’t have to look far to find out that Catholics have in large part embraced artificial birth control. There are statistics everywhere; the Guttmacher Institute for one. And I’m not judging anyone. Statistics only tell the general facts. They don’t point out any particular people so we can’t know who is or isn’t doing so unless someone admits to it. Every Catholic surely knows that it is the teaching of the Church that using artificial birth control is a mortal sin.
New catholic here - entered this past Easter. Entered - certainly not because of Francis and not in spite of Francis either - he had nothing to do with my decision. Respect the papacy (the office) - reserve judgement on Francis himself. Glad to be catholic.
So glad to hear this! I got confirmed at Easter vigil too! ❤ there were 4 of us in total 🎉 and I'm really trying to be proper Catholic like going to mass every week, adoration and confession once a month at the mo. And praying rosary every day. So far feel so much peace and so glad I made this decision. Going to help with RCIA next year too. ❤🎉
I could tell you were a convert from when you talked about cultural Catholics. I grew up as a cultural Catholic, the steps you described of getting the sacraments for your kids are not easy. It takes several years to get them (3 for holy communion). We all have our struggles, even the great saints. I had to get confirmed on my own as an adult but I appreciated the steps my parents took for me, even though there were strong cultural elements to their faith.

I confirm for France. I'm 49, french and raised in an buddhist environment (my parents are from Southeast Asia). I'm getting baptized next July...
Two obnxious people, what boast.
That's because you do a fantastic job Fr John Brown GBY for the work you do 🙏
That’s awesome Father John! Praise the Lord! To God be the glory

"Purified Seven Times, The Miracle of the English Bible"- Bill Bradley
1384- John Wycliffe translates the whole Bible into English for the first time in history. The "Church repays him by condemning him as a " heretic".
1536- William Tyndale was burned as a heretic for his Bible translation of the first printed English scriptures.
1537- Myles Coverdale's Bible translation was published "with the King's most gracious license.". Later, during "Bloody Mary's" reign, he was hunted for his life and forced to flee England.
1539- Coverdale's "The Great Bible" chained to the pulpits by order of King Henry VIII. Christians were executed for reading the Bible without a license.
1555- John Rogers was burned to death for publishing Matthew's Bible; became the first victim of "Bloody Mary" Queen of England.
1560- Queen Mary commands all "heretics" to return to Romanism or face the consequences. Many flee to Geneva, and the exiled church leaders produce the Geneva Bible.
1611- The seventh major English translation of the Scriptures, the King James Bible, is published and adopted as the authorized version by the people of God as the word of God for the English-speaking world. "Purified Seven Times".

Cause Catholic Church is so close to reality itself in this world which tries to masquerade.

They thank themselves because atheism is a selfish pursuit.
Bro that’s exactly how I felt a few months ago.
@@fij715 where you an atheist that became Catholic?
Beautiful faith journey experience...
This is amazing testimony
Thank you for taking the time to write and share all your experience and your journey to the Catholic Church. It helped me and I will send it to other people.

Even thou we are among the most majority muslim country in the world, Catholic Church in Indonesia is flourishing. This Easter, Catholic Church also received a lot of adult baptism mostly from Protestantism, Islam, then other religion like Hinduism and Buddhism. The Catholic schools, universities, hospitals, orphanages, Social Services play a significant role in attracting people to join the Church.
Salam kawan Indonesiaku ❤
Yup. 2 million convert to christianity(catholic, protestant, ortodox) per year in Indonesia. Glory be to God. Ave Cristo Rey!

That's amazing! We had over 600 here in the Diocese of Lansing.
Praise the Lord ❤
Wow! That many? That's a whole congregation in itself! Thanks be to God!
Glory be to God!!! How amazing!!!
20 baptizes in my little country church.
Welcome home!!! Your story is inspiring!!!!
You and other new members are the joy of the Church! We cradle Catholics are so edified and heartened by your presence with us. God be praised and may you go ever deeper - decades on and I’m astounded that the riches and depth of our faith are never exhausted! God bless you forever
What a heart moving testimony!! Welcome home!
Welcome home A powerful testimony of God's abiding Love. God bless you
God bless you.
I pray I can get these baptised but not church going students before our Lord, and hopefully make them into real christians that keep coming after confirmation😊
Yes, things are really moving!
I live in Charlotte and am so happy to see this news. In fact, right now the Diocese of Charlotte is near the top of the list with seminarians.
People have a natural desire for beauty, truth, and sanity. This is why people come home: Catholicism = Sanity.

I think the online evangelism is drawing converts. We have some amazing people explaining the faith! 🙏
I agree, we NEED to know our faith
I have goosebumps right now!!!!! So happy. Praise God 🙏🏽
Oh it's growing no one can stop the work which God has began in us.
As a cradle Catholic, I have always found it encouraging to hear the details of those who convert to the Catholic faith.
•
In particular those who are well versed in scripture. They where honestly seeking truth and after having seen what the Catholic church actually teaches, they were moved to convert to Catholicism. Their zeal and conviction are encouraging!

Let's keep praying for the on going rise in converts to the Catholic Church and for non practicing Catholics to return.
Praise the Lord! Hail Mary Full of Grace
Incredible. Thanks for the inspiration.
wow- amazing testimony brother!

@@marymargarette4289 You Don't believe in the authority of scipture. You substitute scripture for your claims of the supremacy of your Dogma.
Am I saved by Jesus Christ or am I saved by the lies of the CC and I have not rejected Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour.
You worship idols which you deny, and you then lie to yourself..
The CC moved against the Catholic theologians who became whistleblowers to get the Bible translation into the hands of normal folks, and those who did so died at the hands of the CC. You are definitely leading the way!!
Pray for us
I have been praying for France & California. You are spot on! God bless you.
It is, but have faith! God will provide! 😊
I want my husband to join from Anglicanism, and he hasn’t yet. It’s very saddening. I would live us to have a fully Catholic marriage.
Much about this time one Richard Hunn, a merchant tailor of the city of London, was apprehended, having refused to pay the priest his fees for the funeral of a child; and being conveyed to the Lollards' Tower, in the palace of Lambeth, was there privately murdered by some of the servants of the archbishop.[190]
September 24, 1518, John Stilincen, who had before recanted, was apprehended, brought before Richard Fitz-James, bishop of London, and on the 25th of October was condemned as a heretic.

I said, I wish someone would try!”
It’s my first amendment right.
Thank you 🙏
@heidigabalski6335 Bryan should've said Allen, not Athens. If your friend has a traditional bent, St. Gabriel in McKinney is great. The RCIA program at St. Jude is good though. Another option would be St. Francis of Assissi in Frisco if that is closer to them. - Bryan's wife Erin
@erint6540 Thank you 🙏 ❤
Also, what about all the ex-Catholics that leave the church and then come back to it later in life after life experience and maturity? No one tracks these numbers- the media only likes to talk about the large number of people leaving the church (mostly young adult) but they ignore those that come back later in life
And me!
Praise God ❤🙏
Thats me
Catholics need to know the faith and read the Bible and know that our wonderful Catholic Church is the only church established by my Lord and savior Jesus Christ and that the Catholic Church gave the Bible to the world!! I don’t worry to much about what happens in the Vatican because there are and have been people trying to destroy the church from within from the beginning but as long as I follow the teachings of Christ and the doctrine though for the past 21 centuries I know my Lord Jesus Christ will prevail over his church!!
Brian, great vid!
Blessed be God. The Lord is calling his children to his Church. God bless us brothers and sisters.
May God bless us all catholics.amen!
We had almost 100 baptisms at the vigil and over 1000 throughout the year at my SSPX chapel.
Is in the crisis that God make us wake up our conscience and make us feel the emptiness of this world without Him, and that void is what make us long for the love, safety, peace and the good men was made for. We are his creatures and He know and love us better than anyone, and He will always be there for us, we just need to reach at him and let Him embrace us.🙏
I don't think the church understands the power of the internet, some good content on TH-cam, including yours.
I agree. It sure helped me.
It does. I think it was was Benedict who made a Church document on the dangers and the potential of social media back when it was starting.
But being aware of potential and tech savvy enough to use it are two different things. We DO have word on fire though
Father Blount being one:)
You are confirming what I have been seeing. More people joining and attending! Praise God!!
I'm sure these atheist converts were not convinced by a lukewarm Catholics. We need to know and practice our faith.
God is truly wondrous and glorified in His Church.
So exciting! God wants His church to be one church again!!! Jesus wants His bride. So lovely seeing people come to the fullness of the truth ❤
That was always the Will of God that we are one. Let us pray so that Jesus reunite us again
WhatTruth? Did these people find the Truth of what the RCC is all about? This is just a small part of what happened to those who didn't agree with the DOGMA of the catholic church
In 1507, one Thomas Norris was burnt alive for the testimony of the truth of the gospel, at Norwich. This man was a poor, inoffensive, harmless person, but his parish priest conversing with him one day conjectured he was a Lollard. In consequence of this supposition he gave information to the bishop, and Norris was apprehended.

Praise God!!!
I'm a protestant but this is great news. I praise God along with you. May God continue to bless you and the church.
There is a priest in Marsella France that is called the new John Vianey.
Excellent video, Bryan!
May I heed the voice of the Holy Spirit and go where He tells me and do what He tells me to do to draw others to the Faith.
That's what I was going to ask.
More zealous converts who have babies will make more vocations. You need laymen first to make priests and consecrated.

Ordinations is a future fruit of today's converts. be patient and pray.
It will happen, God willing
My sister and I were confirmed this Easter!!! Thanks be to God, I’m in southern Oregon.
My Parrish had 16 my sister’s Parrish had 6 and she’s in Big Lake, Alaska.
My church is busting at the seams! 5 masses on Sundays and 2 services daily and confessions daily considering we're just in the outskirts of Nashville! It's a good thing but something is happening! We are building a new church because of this! And more younger parishioners at Adoration. College kids saying the rosary in latin!

Glory to God always Iam proud Catholic in Jesus name Amen
In times of crisis, God raises great saints.
This is happening. Our parish had a record number welcomed into the Church this Easter, with another large family baptized this past Sunday. We're talking nearly 50 people in a small parish. The Holy Spirit is at work.
Truth always prevails!
In Brazil, we see the same phenomenon. There are lots of conversions. A lot!
True evangelism is by living the words of God. Pray for the salvation of the world.
The Spirit is drawing all of goodwill into the Church but it's hard to see it explicitly while we are so deep in the times.
New catholic here - entered this past Easter. Entered - certainly not because of Francis and not in spite of Francis either - he had nothing to do with my decision. Respect the papacy (the office) - reserve judgement on Francis himself. Glad to be catholic.
Welcome home!
Just joined this past Easter, we had about 12-15 people, mostly in their 20's.
How lovely…See you in the Eucharist!
True, some influencers and pundits are becoming Roman Catholics while Millions of Hispanics/Latinos are leaving the RCC. Do the Math.
Yes lets share our fairh !!!!!!❤❤❤❤
I have also been thinking about everyone of us getting at least one person to convert. If we all did that the numbers would be staggering.
I agree with all my heart!
