    Great tip Ali. I have known of this technique for some time but never able to execute it. Your description made something click in my mind and after a little practice was able to really improve my chipping on course. Many thanks.

    This with your last chipping video using a putting motion has changed my chipping and pitching from a weakness to a strength. First round I moved to this technique I chipped in twice my confidence is sky high

    Watching this and the better ball striking video for irons and driver shot my best score, added 25-30 yards to my 5 iron. Just need better judgement with the chips but never cuffed one which normally happens. Keep up the great work Ali.

    One more request on videos is about the release. The rotation of the club with the flipping of the hands. Is this something happens naturally as a result of the body sequence or is this something that we need to drill on and make that move when we take a divot? In a couple of your videos, after your students do the toe divot, there appears to be a” light bulb go off in their heads and they suddenly understand the feel of taking a divot, where the low point needs to be, etc. I have closed the club face all my life, from the lateral side to side motion with my wrists which you also point out in the video. But after they do this toe divot, they understand something that I am curious about. Please give more time to this issue!

    You just described my game lately, missed green, even slightly=bogey or worse. I'll try this today.

    So I think I have the yips when chipping. I tried what you recommended in the video and things are pretty good. Stance good...weight good...lean good...swing good....Until it actually comes time to hit the ball. I take my swing and as I try to accelerate through the ball, I invariably hit the ground two inches behind the ball. Once in awhile I'll hit the ball thin and it goes flying. Any thoughts on how I can fix this? Thanks.

    I watched through the video twice, and if you said what club you were using, I missed it. Looks to be a wedge with a lot of loft. What were you using? Thanks!

    I need advise on what club to use when chipping about 3' to an uphill green. I have used a GW and a PW and both came up short and stopped just on the green with no roll.

    • @AliTaylorGolf
      @AliTaylorGolf  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Either land those clubs further up the green or take less lofted irons to get the ball to roll more.

    Definitely miss my chips heavy (behind the ball) when I do; will try this technique this afternoon. Thanks Ali 👍🏻

    This technique works really well from short grass. From higher grass or steeper slopes I feel it is more difficult than the classical technique.

      Chipping is by far the best part of my game. I've used this technique for about 2 years and have at least 1 chip in per round. In the taller stuff and on down slope I increase the shaft lean where only the very tip of the toe is on the ground. Try it and see how you like it

    What loft is your club?

  • @aliasErEf
    @aliasErEf 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Holding the club hands down and same as with my putter with my weight on left foot …..🎉❤ .
    Question here wich club is best on average with a good lie ? And a bad lie ? PW, 50*, 54* ?
