I usually don’t entertain comments like this but every now and again I will.
      1. Exercising rights alone is educational, many private citizens are learning what they can do and have the right to do.
      2. The staff at this location now known the term PIA request and have been educated on what it is.
      3. The police that were present have been educated the recording is lawful business, instead of assuming that it’s not.
      4. The staff has learned they don’t have to give their ID if they have not committed a crime.
      5. The staff has learned that any private citizen can visit their business and look around. It’s not their building, it belongs to the people. And as a bonus they have learned how to conduct themselves when engaging with an auditor. Just do your job we hired them for and everything will be ok.

It doesn’t work that way. The public has to know there has to be a warning or a sign clearly established.

I can agree for the most part. I think change takes time to sit in but in the future hopefully a panic button won’t be pressed.

    • @larrybranchii

@@GoodCitizzen yes, the panic button was out of spite and very unnecessary. Following that I believe they did a good job keeping the rest cordial and respectful for the most part. Most ppl wouldn’t even be willing to speak or deal with you after being educated by officers and the auditor. Great job nonetheless.

Tell them TIGHTS ARE like Muscles if you don't exercise them u may lose them...lol also when they pull policy inform them that policy can't trump law. At one point in time policy didn't permit blacks to be permitted didn't make it right. Policy doesn't trump law. And public officials dont have the luxury of not identifying . Also if no signs you DEFINITELY have the right to document your experience in the building bro

(you don’t have to get an id from him - not at this point he hasn’t commented a crime) knowledge is key and that is what auditors do at the end of the day teach on what to do next time they think a cop will fix their problems but officers should In force laws not feeling
