If soup can’t be dry, it can’t be wet. Liquid itself is not wet, it’s a state of matter. According to most scientists, wetness is defined as when "liquid comes in contact with a solid" (in simple terms). Liquid itself is not wet because liquid + liquid = liquid NOT *wet* liquid. Liquid + solid = wet/damped/moist etc. (of course, water + oil will have a different outcome then soup + more soup)
So in my opinion, no soup isn’t wet, it’s soup... but that’s my take lol.
