I BELIEVE THAT THE FABRIC OF SOCIETY NEEDS TO BE STRONGER BY A FIRM FOUNDATION OF MORALS. Thank you, George Will for an excellent presentation !

I love George Wills intelligence and sense of humor! I don’t always agree with him politically, being a progress as I am.

George Will is one of the most important people to have ever been part of conservatism in America. He is only a man however, so his attitude toward Donald Trump may have gone too far. I urge people discussing George Will to not throw out this man’s contributions over the last 30 years because of his extreme dislike of Donald Trump as expressed over the last 4 years.

I'm not clear on how he's "gone too far" in expressing his disgust for maybe the biggest buffoon in the history of mankind.

I simply can't envision people finding fault with anyone who sees a liar, understands what he's seeing, and openly points out the presence of such. Further, Donald Trump is not a conservative. Conservatives therefore owe him no tribute.

Rick Memmer - I don’t disagree that Trump is often an idiot. However, it is also idiotic to portray free trade - where one side (China) is frequently breaking the implicit/explicit rules of the game - as an ultimate good. This is George Will’s position and he is wrong.

Lyndsey MacPherson - I don’t fault Will for critiquing those things. I critique him for his simplistic criticism against the use of tariffs in spite of a China’s behavior. I criticize him for his denial that media outlets do not largely misrepresent Trump’s comments (Charlottesville comments, etc). While I mean this only tongue in cheek, if Obama was worthy of a Nobel prize w/i a year of his being elected, Trump certainly deserves a Nobel for absolutely changing the landscape in the Middle East.

@@StrategicWealthLLC George Will is part of the beltway intelligensia. An intact manufacturing base will never touch him. It will simply give him something to argue with his progressive friends at cocktail parties.
I can respect and agree with almost everything he says, but he is still detestable to me.
