Walk well on this land.”, and yes the Black, Yellow & Red flag is the official flag of the Indigenous Australian people, also if you didn’t know, Indigenous Australians range from white skin all the way to dark black skin, dark black skin was obviously the skin Indigenous Australians had before colonisation, but got lighter through natural mixing, rape, Stolen Generation (which is a whole different topic, a very sad one), and forced marriages, so even though a large chunk of Indigenous Australians have lighter skin a lot of us hold on to our roots as a way to stand resilient against the evil that the government did in the past. Kiwi Haka/Australia indigenous war cry pre game ceremonies are always a massive highlight of the indigenous all star game and only get better and better each year.
This isn’t really like the NFL Superbowl, the NRL Grand Final would be more like that, this is more of a game to show the New Zealand Maori and Indigenous Australian culture all whilst having a good rugby game with a good rivalry but also a huge amount of respect.
It kind of upsets me that native Americans don’t have a team for the Super Bowl (correct me if I’m wrong of course) but I think it would bring a massive culture boost to the super bowl
