Well one of the major reasons she couldn't make it big in America was because she's Asian. It's sad but true. Americans aren't really interested in celebrities and singers of other races, and they aren't really interested in pop from other countries. Most Americans only knew and acknowledged local artists until Psy's Gangnam Style came out.
