Armand used Lestat as a tool to dissolve a coven he became disillusioned with, there’s hinting that he used Louis to begin the destruction of theatre de vampire, and now he’s using Daniel to set about the dissolution of his sham relationship with Louis. Armand never pushes away leadership or ends things himself he sets things in motion using his lovers, so that even when things end he is never truly alone. Armand can never be alone so he has used Lestat, Louis and Daniel as lovers, means to end things and as a way to avoid a transitional period of loneliness. Armand’s basically the friend that’s always in a relationship or some sort of codependent friend group just with the hellish vampire powerful mean streak in the mix
I ponder how much of this is fact? Because it is heavily hinted that last season, Louis' memories of Lestat are half truths. I hope we can finally have Lestat's POV.
If I’m not wrong, in the books it was Lestat who beat Armand when they’ve met, not the other way around So maybe Armand did change details of their first meeting
@@102200052 from what I remember Armand was very powerful rival who was more powerful then lestat but Lestat could hang with him because of Magnus's blood. Armand embraced Lestat and almost killed him by draining his life but Lestat was strong enough to push him off.... I think at some point Lestat was amazed and also weary with how powerful Armand was
This scene was beautiful, and probably my favourite part of the episode. I have no idea if it’s the truth or half truth, but this scene was beautiful, and loved the dynamic between Assad and Sam. They are amazing. Thank you. ❤️🖤❤️🔥❤️🖤❤️🔥
If this real I love how detached and to the point lestat is with him. I'm pretty sure he blames him for Nicky because their relationship was fine before Armand took him. Then in his fear of loosing him he turned Nicky and they grew apart. He's been planning to get back at Armand since he took Nicky. That's what the whole theater of the vampires was a way to get revenge. I love that lestat went this far and now maybe Armand is with Louis.
That angular face of Sam, which seems to be sculpted by hand, look even more perfect under the light of the fire. He said he has an idea, we also have some, all of them related to him.
I think that everything that Armand said happened but he is omitting some scenes to change the narrative. Armand doesn't straight up invent events but more manipulates the truth in his favour or omits the truths that he can't manipulate.

I'm not French-speaking, I'm American but I can discern Sam's Australian accent when he speaks French in this episode; most notably during the street-confronation with Armand.If nothing else the French accent is definitely off. Regardless, both men sound sexy when they speak French and I love this flashback.
As a French person, their French is understandable but they sound foreign. They all have interesting accent, but Armand is my favorite his accent is so cute.
Sam was saying in a podcast that the accents are not perfect but they kind of get away with it because they are world travelers over all those years so the accents kind of blend off each other ( my words)@nickimillennium
