Lasagna skillet. Only thing I would do is add about half Italian sausage to the ground beef. Could also stir in some fresh spinach leaves. Looks great and very easy. Retired California chef here.
I just made this last night. Added Crimini mushrooms with the onion and garlic, 2 links of Italian sausage with the ground beef. I ditched the cream and used 6 oz of baby spinach and a cup of Ricotta at the end which I seasoned up with minced fresh basil, salt and pepper. The recipe is a great.
I will definitely try this. I have mobility issues so I'm not comfortable taking large baking dishes out of a hot oven anymore. It never occurred to me to do a stovetop lasagna. I am a bit of a traditionalist with lasagna, so instead of the cream, I'll stick with the ricotta, mozarella and parmesan cheeses. This dish looked and sounded yummy. I could almost smell it. Yep, now I'm hungry. 😂
I think it's a great recipe, whatever you call it. My gripe with most lasagna is that it's too pasty, or downright dry. Usually it's because there are too many noodles and not enough sauce. All those problems are solved in this recipe. I will be making this!
That style of LASAGNA looked very good! LASAGNA holds a special place in our home. It was 1of 2 food items my military son craved while on his deployments. Whenever he returned it was on the table waiting for him to dig in and enjoy. I'll try this recipe for sure 👍 😋 😊.
My friend made this all the time as a midweek treat for her family. She called it a 'Lasagna Bowl'. We'd love being invited over for dinner when she made it!
I downsized and converted my woodworking building into a "she shed". I bought an instant pot, electric skillet, air fryer and basically every electric small countertop appliance. I love it! Been watching your videos alot! Thankyou for sharing everything. I truly appreciate it. 😊😊😊❤
@@TheCooknShare The whole family LOVED it. Even my little, old greek mum (who’s lactose intolerant mind you). Hubby said it’s one of the best lasagne’s he’s ever tasted and so did my 24 yr old daughter. Hope you don’t mind, but I’ve re-labelled the name to ‘Lazy Lasagne’ in my household 🤭 xx
That lasagna looks amazing, and all in one pan!! One thing I really like about your videos is you show the final product in the beginning of your video, and it lures us in to see how you got there. Nice job!
I need to let you know. I made your stove top Lasagna. It was delicious and I've been in the mood to eat lassagna but it's just too much trouble. Laying the layers this was easy and it is delicious. I done it just like you said. Thank you. So much love your new hat
Wow my friend your a genius now im going to enjoy lasagna again thank you this is going to going to be soo good. Looks like hamburger helper lasagna but way better. Hope all I well will see you again soon. 😀
This is a very delicious, easy & quick recipe. I used ricotta instead of the heavy cream because I didn't have any heavy cream. And I added some extra beef broth to aid in the cooking of the noodles. After plating I added shaved parmasean cheese to each plate along with the basil. It was a wonderful meal. Thank you for sharing your awesome recipe. ❤
Great stovetop recipe! Thanks. My favorite way to use leftovers is to make lasagna soup. I use my homemade chicken stock (store bought is good too). Just throw stock and lasagna together for a delicious soup.
Was trying to think of what to do with some ground beef I took out of the freezer, this looks great and I have everything (even the fresh basil) on hand, so I'll give it a try tomorrow. Thank you.
Is it me or does this feel like a cooking show from the late 70’s - mid 80’s!!!!! I love it! Back when food was food and not complicated! I’m new to your channel and I’ll be returning my friend!
Reminded me of Hamburger Helper lasagna style. Here's more than a few things I'd do differently. Brown the meat in an oven proof pan. Drain the grease from meat in a strainer and add fennel powder for the meat to taste like Italian sausage. Find a substitute for the heavy cream. Leave out the cheddar, keep it mozzarell, and dollop ricotta here and there, finish it in the oven just long enough to get a crispy meld on the cheeses.
Not a bad idea for those of us who are too lazy to do it the traditional way. Also can put the final product under the boiler for a few on high and get some good browning.....
Just made this tonight and it was so excellent I’m definitely making it again. I mixed ricotta cheese and the cream and put that on top and then the cheese. My mom used to make it and used half the pans in the house doing it and it took hours. Pan for the sauce, pan for the cheese sauce, pan for the pasta and then a big dish for the oven. No more! I was hoping for leftovers but unfortunately it all got eaten.
Very nice recipe. Looking forward to trying this on Stovetop. Use to baking it in the oven, but for 1, this looks far easier and so much more affordable. Thanks!
Love your hats as well as your cooking. Cute fur baby ❤ This hat is super! I want to get one for my son. He has a Malchis. Thanks for a great recipe again.

Lazy day lasagna 😊
If you can wait, cook this up a day ahead to allow the flavors to blend. This would be fantastic!
The only thing missing are generous dollops of ricotta cheese❤It looks very tasty.
That’s exactly what I was going to say. And exactly what I’m going to do. 😁
Great. Hope you enjoy.
Cottage cheese is made from ricotta
