    This is one of the best attacks I've ever seen on a chessboard. Only Stockfish could create a masterpiece like this. I wonder if Leela could have made some other choices somewhere during the match, or if this line is winning for white with perfect play by both sides.

    At 8:00, I only found the move because I thought to myself, 'What is the most absurd-looking move that brings a piece towards the enemy king?' But there was no way I could see the idea behind it. I think most human games ended with black winning or draws because once SF finds a breakthrough, it never steps off the gas pedal, threat after threat, unlike humans. I hope we get to see cutting-edge theory in the upcoming candidates.
    Are there any games with black winning (SF or Leela) but not using dynamic tactics but positional lockdown/ slow constriction preferrably against the queen's gambit that you can showcase?

    Loved it. Thank you. And it's nice it solved a 'puzzle' that humans have never succeed at.

    This is not strongest leela, it is actually a pretty old version of the engine, using a pretty small (weak) neural net, CCRL refuses to update the engine.

      For sure this game is not changing "Theory of the Richter-Rauzer" with 8...h6? -/+

      8.-h6 is no mistake, it's the classic main line , with it's own Eco-Code B66. Therefore 8.-h6 doesn't deserve a ?, it's common theory.

    Once more a stunning improvement by the Fish. Great stuff for the white attack in the Richter-Rauzer. Many. thanks.

    Dear Josip, i think the best defense for black was 20.-dxe4 21.Rh3 Kh8 22. Bg6 Bd6! 23.Rxd6 and now, not as you mentioned, 23.-fxe5?, but 23.-Bd5! Stockfish 16 now can't find a winning advantage for White, only a slight edge!

    This is pre-arranged BLITZ. LC0 blunders right out of the pre-arranged box with 8...h6? +/- Stockfish also plays weakly (14.a3?=), missing the strongest continuation (14.Qg3!+/-)

    • @torstencuber9114
      @torstencuber9114 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Nonsens!
      8.-h6 is the Main Line in the Richter-Rauzer-Attack!
      The other Main Line is 8.-Bd7.
      You should study opening theory before you make such ridiculous comments!

      @@torstencuber9114 8...h6? has not been considered "Main Line" in the Richter-Rauzer for well over 50 years! Ribka formally rebusted it as being playable long before Stockfish even knew how to move the pieces - the normal continuation being 8...h6? 9. Nxc6 bxc6 10.Bf4 d5 11.Qe3 Bb4 12.Be2 O-O 13. e5 Nd7 14. Qg3! +/- The "other" Main Line 8...Bd7 9.f4 Be7 10. Nf3 b5 11. Bxf6 gxf6 12. f5 Qb6 +/= still leaves White with some advantage and is a major factor towards most GM's preferring 5...a6! (Najdorf) rather than 5...Nc6 (Classical) which allows White these favorable RR lines.

    Can you please tell how to play against the same opening as I play. For example I play nimzo Indian defence as black so how to counter it as white

    Human beings cannot play like stockfish. The demands on a person's tactical vision is too high. That is why no person won on the white side of this line before this game. Maybe some of the top super GMs could try and prepare this line for White but it has not happened yet. Caruana has prepared difficult lines before, such as the Poisoned Pawn Najdorf.

      29. ... Bxe5 is probably better than 29. ... Rb7. Perhaps Lc0 made an inaccuracy there that cost it the game.
