Boom! you can do it actually with peak quality with some attachable lenses available in the market..only issue is that they are not that cheap...some brands even sell lenses that provide anamorphic characters in phone shots for cinematographic shots...

The fact that the exposure compensation was kept at -2.0 throughout almost the entirety of the shootout was quite telling. It speaks to the ability of Lee to spot and see interesting scenes with nice natural contrast and depth rather than the iPhone’s imaging pipeline prowess. iPhone just doesn’t seem to like any kind of shadows and whenever it spots them, they get raised to unnaturally high levels that the image looks very flat and kinda uncanny. Don't forget iphone is used by professional. Normal people didn't plays with Exposure Compensation and didn't know professional tips like where lighting should/shouldn't hits the subject, make sure lighting directly not hitting the phone, angle, framing, bokeh intensity etc.
Normal user can't get such great photos with same phone.

Thanks for the vdo. I think If iphone camera can develop the skin tone to look similar as big camera lens that would be perfect.

Been using torras cases since the 12 pro max but I’m disappointed that there is no torras case without the MagSafe magnet on the back for the 16 pro. I prefer an all frosted black without that circle (I don’t use MagSafe) hopefully they release one without it soon

Just what I was looking for! Im on the fence about upgrading from my 13 Pro. Im also a portrait photographer and Im hesitant to give up the 3x fixed lens. Find 5x Lens too close for portraits. What is your experience? Im also intrigued by the new JPG XL format in the 16. Are you shooting in raw or Heif? Have you seen or tested the Xiaomi 14t pro or Ultra with Leica lenses? They also look like solid contenders for Photography.

iPhone takes solid photos but the Sony is clearly better. I also wouldn't say an A7IV s a professional camera. Now A7RV is definitely a professional camera.

Hey Lee, awesome video my friend!
Could you please tell us what settings you have on your iPhone camera settings, as there are so many options to choose from, it’s difficult to know what to have left on or off.
    Thanks 😅

I’m just shooting in portrait mode with exposure set to -2. No tricks. Everything you see in the video is what I’m showing on the screen. No adjustments to colour or anything on the photos

Well the 16 pro max is the exact same camera system as the pro so you won’t see anything different
