Thankyou so much for actually giving a real compairison, I see way to many people on youtube use the logic that because you cant mount the lenses they already have then they wont use it as there main camera. (fine but the part I hate comes next) They go on to say that because they wont use it as there main camera then it is not a good camera altogether and theirfore a bad phone altogether. Yet it is actually a powerhouse when you use it properly.
Have been looking forward to this comparison. Your natural light location portraits are off the hook sir. Once again the iPhone has amazing potential in the right hands. 👏🏻
Excellent camera analysis. I've seen your video on a tablet with 2k resolution and the professional camera still wins for details and homogeneous colors, the iPhone does not do badly but it is true that it adds some artificial sharpness to the photograph. The iPhone is still the best phone for photography and video without a doubt 💯👌🏻
I’d give video to the Sony Xperia line based on the fact that even last year they had 10bit and 4k120 on all their lenses. And manual controls IN camera app without third party. But photos definitely go to iPhone now.
What I like to do after taking a portrait with a smartphone is to add some loose hair on the edges in post-production. A small thing which makes the blur seem more natural.
