Whats the argument for women not to be preachers. Persuasion by devil?

Sorry Doctor Scott, on this your are wrong.
Big Five Personality demonstrates the differences between male and female personality and there is a strong biological argument for why this is so.
It doesn’t mean women are incapable of reason or makes incapable of emotion and empathy, but there are strong tendencies in both.
What you attribute to Burke, Burke and Pop-psychology has its basis in evolution.
Wisdom is often presented as feminine because male rationality can be a blunt force instrument. Christ is more akin to a union between the two.
I also find yourself attempts to defend Christianity as not being responsible for the misogyny you clearly feel is predominant in western culture is also a sleight of hand and misguided.
In Greece, Spartan women inherited land. This is a straw man argument, sadly. They also had queens. Such as Cleopatra. And the concept that Caesar’s wife was above reproach. Additionally the Vestal Virgins wielded considerable power in Rome for nearly six hundred years.
This pit and pedestal argument is also a straw man. Medieval lit doesn’t present us with perfect men. They are idealised or demonized the same as women. It’s the same.
I follow a lot of your lectures, but this I found to be woke and full of folly.

This is the first time I have ever been accused of being woke!
