Madam, your lectures ate wonderful. I.dont any background in literature, and a person in mid forties, but due to sheer delight listen to such a comprehensive sirvey of history of English literature. My gratitude to you.
"Thank you for the captivating journey through the History of English Literature! Your lecture was an enlightening exploration of literary milestones and the evolution of language. Truly the best....
Madam, your teaching is very methodical and prominent for net aspirations. As a student of English literature I know very well the importance of being aware about the history of literature. Anglo Saxon age or the starting point of English literature is very obscure because of its complicated and random historical events. Thank you for making it comprehensible.

Ma'am your explanation is as clear as crystal. And most importantly the speed of explanation is good. Because I was searching for professors who could explain fast meaning speed of their explanation. 👍
The best series of lectures I have found on this subject on TH-cam. I must give just a little correction: Hastings is in the county of Sussex, not Kent. But that is merely a minor mistake in a very valuable video.

Hello Maim As You mentioned in this video that there were five kingdoms which is called heptarchy but i would to add something more that there were seven kingdoms which is called heptarchy!
I think King Arthur's ruling span is 5 th to 6th century AD.. Cause Anglo-Saxon came to England after Romans had left in 5 century AD, while video is showing the counting in BC. Kind of confused, any help would be appreciated.
Thank you madam, but it would be a very kind act of yours if you take efforts to answer some of my doubts.... The Anglo-Saxons were pagan as well as very fierce fighters but how did Christianity re- enter England in 597 A.D from Rome?
Hello, however your lecture is interesting, I think that there is a huge merytoric error, as you talk albout England when you mean (Great) Britain, which is an island.
6:57, not clear enough. There is a missing link, between what happens to the Visigoths who forced an excursion on the Romans, to the Anglo Saxons invading group who are also Germans...
