It’s a full blown 90’s magical girl anime concept. They pulled it off so brilliantly! Love How they kept it unserious and u hinged yet managed to make it look modern and cool because this could have easily been corny.

The MV is rated 12+ so the fight choreography is goofy on purpose. Its all tongue and cheek, campy and just for fun. Heck they hide the wan in the refrigerator. You missed the part where the mice come out of the clothes I bet, since most viewers do. There is a making of for the Music Video and it seems the fight scenes look better than how they were filmed. Plus there's also an IVE reacts to their 'Accendio' Music Video, and they all laughing at how goofy the mv is too. The one on the bike is my bias Gaeul. She's the eldest and a hottie.

Thank you sir for that insight so much, that is why i watch your reactions ,you also share some of your expertise in a director standpoint of view, now I know why ii felt i was watching a highschool or stage play in our tv series and was always not at par with what the hollywood action sequence is, honestly i dont know if every director should have known this especially an action director in our country, because most of what they show us in action sequence are an absolute crap

Also, my Sailor Moon loving ass is SO HERE for an honest to god Magical Girl concept in kpop!!
Edit: regarding them standing still, IDK that it was a framerate issue bc the behind the scenes shows them doing it? What I *think* they were going for was like those combat freeze frames from anime, given that this is a Magical Girl concept reminiscent of Sailor Moon or Glitter Force? I think it was a good IDEA but I agree that the execution takes you out of it. OR! They froze in place because it was midnight and in the next frames we see just their clothes teleported away - so maybe the battle stopped bc time was up. Either way, I agree that the execution could have been better.
