You are strong that you left that person and you are a survivor,i knw a prsn who is so weak and doesn’t take stand fr herself and still manage to stay with her abusive husband she trued to commit suicide twice but nobody helped her she is still with that prsn nd still defend him that he has changed a lot but he hasn’t .I feel bad that nobody is actually taking any kind of stand fr her bcz she herself support him.I jst feel disgusted.

Women are so much stronger than they believe. They are their own powerhouse. We all have a tolerance capability but there is a limit to it. I tolerated a lot for 18 year of marriage and it took me almost 5 year before my divorce would be granted because my ex used every tactic he knew to prolong the divorce proceedings. I reached my tolerance level when he took me to another state and said I could not go back with my children. I know it’s not easy but we can’t allow abusive men to teach our children the same things. He still tries to control me and my children but my children are emotionally very strong and they are witness to his abuse. He tries to tell them his version of the whole drama in which all blame goes to me. But the only thing that matters to me is that I am free of abuse and able to laugh out loud with my children.

It's exactly same story of a person I know. She got married in her phuppo's house. But she went through abuse for 6 years. To her shock she got divorced without even a hint and the proof of divorce was destroyed. Her phuppo's whole family is rich and England National. Her father loves his sister. Her whole family blames her. Lawyers say her husband needs to be in Pak for the process. Her marriage contract to her divorce everything was a fraud. And now she is stuck with no future and only her narrow minded rich family.
