I really love the cave one on number 15! I can also get levels on my dinosaur from all the spiders and stuff at the tunnel!

I actually had the number 1 spot in mind before watching but was looking for some other options as well and yeah about the penguins, theres nothing wrong with your safe, except for it being Singleplayer which breaks both the spawns for this island aswell as the entire Jungle Cave which overspawns massively, dont know why that still isnt fixed.
I built at number 2 back in the day, loved having metal, crystal and oil in my garden (if you can call it a garden) lmao

After nearly 3 years and over 1000hrs in Ark, this is the first time I've played the center. And I've got to say I regret not playing it sooner, this video really helped. Debating on 17, 14, and 1 rn what do you think?
That's crazy! And thanks! It depends what you want to do with the base really? 14 would make a really good water base location but 1 is great in terms of being close to all the rare resources and the obelisk! And i'd say 1 is better than 17!
Decided on number 1, it's just really convenient to have the 2 snow mountains next to you

What caves can you build on Center pve? I love living in caves
You should be able to build in all Bear caves around the Center of the map, it's only the artifact caves that I don't think you could build inside!
Does number 15 have obsidian in the underground cave? Aside from beaver dams its got everything id want but if theres no obsidian i dont think id want to build there
Bit late of a reply sorry but i'm pretty sure it does, I haven't played ASE in a while though XD
there's 100% loads of it when flying down from the flying entrance to the underground world so at least that is nearby!

I do want to point out that #4 (or maybe another island next to it) has never spawned any dinos for me
Yeah I don't think those smaller islands have any wilds spawn on them, A few of the slightly larger ones do!

In Survival Evolved or Survival Ascended? I haven't revisited that spot in a long time I must admit XD
I once built in the 13 with a friend Spot. unfortunately just as we started getting the base converted to metal the Chinese came in and ruin the game for everyone.
Edit: Different server I built in spot 11 solo. It was slow going. The spot isn't entirely flat. While u can get a good spot going it is not nearly as big as I was hoping. I would recommend watching out for the murder chicken in that area.
Now granted the maps I did were pop not pve
I love spot 11, like you said it's not got the most room but it's in a good location for a small tribe, I think most tribes just build in caves now in PVP, back in the day I had bases in 2 of these locations on a PVP server :D
@@BEYPlaysGames that's becuase if u don't it is to easy to spot other bases by air. Also if u build near the water on that flat land ppl tend to glitch destroy ur bases
Edit: there is one place I know of u didn't mention for building. It's the underwater air dome near skull cave
@@solinoctis804 True! Ah yes!! I did look into that area when I made the video (checked both of the underwater domes) I think they're really cool locations, just decided not to add them after!

15 for me isn’t even a open cave it’s a lava pit with a bunch of insects
Yep, you have to keep following it all the way down which will bring you into the Underground world...much prettier than those lava pits 😁

Haha :D I'll also make an ARK Ascended version too, the maps tend to be quite different and I really am expecting some huge changes to this map, I feel like The Center ASE version is sooo empty, still a great map ofcourse but I can't wait to see what the ASA version looks like!!
