    Does the mill require a clean cut butt face or does the saw need make a complete cut to get the computer zero out every time. Have seen some videos where they stsrt the saw down just enough to spin the chain and then measure

      David Toothaker there is sensors in there,when u grab a log and press a button it will go to the butt of the tree and zero out itself but the sensors never worked the greatest I found unless u have very straight wood like this, snow and ice throws the sensor off to,but the mills do like if the butts are a nice clean cut so just as easy to cut a chunk off then cut your desired length.

    Looks like the carrier barely has enough hydraulic power to run that head. Feed wheels look slow

    1:17 - operator appears not to be thinking about chain shot hazard - he has saw bar facing directly towards cab while cutting. would be fired for doing this in NZ

      Lexan is pretty tough shit. Im not sure how thick it is on those big cabs but they are pretty much bullet proof on a buncher

      U full of crap, cabs are degsined for chainshot, not that ive seen it in the 20 years ive been around processors
