What should be the specimen Len. And wid. While doing the test and one more question. I have a pend. Saying 6400 so how I calculate the tear strength. For e.g. while performing the rest the dial reached to 15 on scale. So I can I calculate tear strength and in what units?

Your pendulum 6400, and your dial reached 15 so calculation for that tear is 15×64 = 960 is answer.... Because in dial there are 1 to 100 unit...and pendulum is 64 kg...so that calculation.
