    Should left the mask on, better story. Nice choreography though :)

      Thank you for the feedback! I felt bad and didn’t want them wearing the mask through the dancing and the heat. Especially since this isn’t too serious I was ok with the sacrifice. But you’re right it would’ve made it funnier and better for sure

    Lovely, well done. Impressed by the character you got out of the lens. Any diopters used?

    • @mateovisbal

      Thank you! And Nope, wish I had some diopters for this lens though cause the minimum does suck, but for most cases its close enough for me.

    Did you color grade this with Dehancer Pro? The grade is stunning!

    • @mateovisbal

      Yep! I love using Dehancer and it makes it super easy to match cameras. I highly recommend it if you aren't using it already.

      @@mateovisbal I absolutely do! Do you remember what film you used, and what print? Absolutely love this grade

    • @mateovisbal

      Yeah just a 2383 print with no film look! Besides masking and power windows and basic balancing there really isn't much color work I did beyond that.

    • @mateovisbal

      Crazy how powerful dehancer is LOL. Very much like a cheat code to color grading

    this is fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥 beautiful work! What are your thoughts working with the lens?

    • @mateovisbal

      I love the lens, obviously when it's on open gate sensors its perfect, I own the ursa so I rarley get to use it with the right sensor. It's not as fast as others but t2.9 is enough for me, I love the personality and flaring on the lens compared to others. The desqueeze changes in close focus which is a bit annoying, but easily fixable in post and you can use diopters if you'd like. I much prefer them over the siruis too and the nanomorphs. Far focus is not very sharp. 1:21 for example. Stopping down helps a bit with that. My favorite budget option, if not the great joy, the nanomorphs. Hope this helps!

    • @Iphixel
      @Iphixel 9

      @@mateovisbalhow do u fix it in post? I ordered it for my C70 .. was doubting between this ( amber ) and nanomorphs but I ordered the EF/PL mount so i can adapt later to other cameras also.

    • @mateovisbal

      @@Iphixel On resolve (and most editing softwares) you can scale the X and Y individually, so you can stretch the footage by around .2x and it will look more natural. As long as your resolution in the project is correct or if you have black bars to keep the same aspect ratio, obviously it will match. If you're using a S35 sensor like the c70, i recommend the 35mm, it doesn't have the desqueeze problems like the 50mm. If you''re using an open gate sensor or a full frame sensor, the 50mm is perfect. Although if you want a little more control, and smaller lenses for gimbal use, Nanomorphs should treat you perfectly. However the nanomorphs are desinged for s35, unlike the greatjoys that can fit full frame. So if you plan to upgrade or change your sensors, the great joy is a bit more future proof (As well as the viltrox anamorphic lenses but those are only 1.33x)
