    You sure have a nice digger and do a good job running it. I enjoy watching and learn a lot. You have to feel blessed to get to do the work you do, enjoy!

      That's one thing that bugs me why not do it RIGHT❓❓❓ then when it fails or gets tore up, then it's time to add more length to it🤕🤕🤕

      It is not a perfect world. The landowner, my friend, asked me to install the pipe. I did not realize the farm equipment was so large. So we only had the one pipe, and time is very limited to get around to different tasks. In hindsight, yes, I would have put in 40, or at least 30 feet of pipe. But the day I had the time, did the job, we did not have more pipe available. And the goal was to stop the erosion, and that we did. The trucks can still get in/out just fine just like they did before there was any pipe there, so that won't be an issue. Sometimes when you have 20 irons in the fire and only time for 3, you have to improvise. Just some thoughts, thanks.

    That's what I call putting your work to the test! He was a little wide on the turn, but it looks like those double wall pipes hold up pretty good.

      it was trial by fire! They were not even fully installed yet! lol

      yeah could have used some more! Did not realize how big the farm machines were that were working the land. Oh, a semi is coming through it yet! lol

    I would have assumed it would be up to the local municipal government to fix the ditch and install the culvert.

      You are right it usually is on the local township for driveway pipes. But we did not want to wait months on it...

    A last ditch effort to avoid a total washout leaving the farmer high and dry🤔🍻

      @kapperoutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I do kind of feel like I did leave the farmer high and dry though...
      And then I ran off too soon on the downhill run...

      @kapperoutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      yeah but it did not crunch it, which was nice. It is packed in fully to the end now.

      @kapperoutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yeah he got the end, but did not crush it. Oh well, since we only had the one pipe it will work for now, thanks

  • @bradnavratil5502
    @bradnavratil5502 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    You should of went a little deeper and longer..then at the end of them put some rocks so the ends of them don't get crushed like it did.... 😎🇨🇦

      I hear you but I did not want to go deeper than the existing ditch line, as it would have likely silted in a bit. But you'll see in part 2 that ditch takes a lot of water!! I still need to tweak it and add stone to both ends and the top. Thanks.

      @kapperoutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      yeah you know that hindsight thing. I should have known better but I totally forgot that he was going to have farm machines in there. I put 40' of pipe on our drive for semis.

  • @richardbohlingsr3490
    @richardbohlingsr3490 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I would say you need another 10' of culvert pipe on the outflow end to get that rig in there.

    • @kapperoutdoors
      @kapperoutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes agreed. I should have known better but I had not seen the size of the farm implements before that ether! lol.

    Do clients pay extra for the time it takes to make videos of jobs? Lol
    I'd never get anything done if I to make a whole video of every job

    • @kapperoutdoors
      @kapperoutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most of the time they pay extra for video!! LOL
      That is the worst part, taking video. It is a royal pain, but at least it is still fun putting them together on the computer.
