I’m surprised you didn’t take the stock ring gasket off. I have a very tiny leak down on the mid pipe at the bottom of the clamp. Even with a little bit of copper exhaust gasket sealant, using a rubber hammer to tap the pipe down, and really torquing down the clamp, it’s still leaks a little
@@ACProductions77 exhaust leak. I used a heavy duty stainless 2.25” clamp and it has no leaks now. Hold your hand under your clamp when the bike has a cold start and see if you can feel an exhaust leak. The clamp they provided doesn’t do the job.
Hey, Great video on the install but you should have revved it louder with the before and after pipes. I just bought a 2023 1000R and wanted to know what they sound like.
its really hard to capture the true sound of the exhaust through my camera. putting a slip on will for sure give you a good sound but if you want that race bike sound then you will have to go full exhaust kit. btw congrats on the 23 model, how you like it so far, I have a ton of videos that im still filming that im hoping to get it uploaded over these next few weeks.
@@ACProductions77 I bought it this last Saturday and I love it. I can't drive it like I want to because of the break in period. I subscribed to your channel and look forward to future videos. Here's my bike. th-cam.com/video/R-F3Hsd_mnc/w-d-xo.html
@@moomoomilk60 ah i understand now , you dont have to re map the bike but if your looking for the best performance from the slip on and race filter then yes its recommended to get your bike tuned for the new upgrades to maximize on the power.

what type of leak would you be having by the exhaust as there is no fluids in that area?

@@downlowgo_401will have to check that out as I never had any issues.
Is the stock ring gasket the shiny, slightly larger part of pipe? I bought a leovince exhaust and the mid pipe won’t fit over that
Great tutorial !

@@whatsup6969 nice i just gave your the 1st thumbs up on it , would leave a comment but you have that turned off
@@whatsup6969 ahh the smell of a brand new bike nothing like it =)
@@ACProductions77 Thanks. I just figured out how to turn it on Lol
Do you know what size that spacer to the bracket is? Mines missing and it throws off the whole exhaust lol
1/2 in wide with m8 hole size
Is the baffle removable?
I will have to check but i don’t think it has one
I just checked and there is no baffle in the exhaust.
how bout the servo?
It’s still there as the slip on is installed after the servo
Do you have to rejet?
@@chrisbielecki4989 rejet? I don’t understand your question
you don't need to tune the bike for a slip on but it is recommended.
