as one of the 4 female listeners who's rarely on youtube... I had to login just to come comment about how fantastic this episode was. Loved the ideas, conversations and how spot on so many of the trends etc. were. Please have Codie back on every few months!
This had the smell of a PR episode, with a check for MFM. Sanchez has analyst experience, but her ventures are doubtful. Especially, since an analyst would know their numbers and margins down-pat. Doubling down, she sells access to her “knowledge”, which all the more would emphasize that she has to be in command of her numbers. This episode offers some serious questions and concerns, Shaan.
Already missing Sam. As soon as sam or shaan isnt there you realise the main reason you listen to mfm isnt for the ideas but the incredible dynamic between the Ss ❤🎉
Man her numbers on the laundromat business were pretty fuzzy. It's as if she doesn't actually know what the numbers are for that type of business. She doesn't know hard numbers, she only knows simple estimations based on what seems realistic. First she says the average revenue is $100k with 15-20% margins ($15k to $20k profit). Then she compared it to short-term rentals and bumped up the numbers to $20k - 40k a year just to make it seem better. No actual hard numbers on her other deals either. Selling a course on buying a business without being able to provide actual numbers from past deals is crazy to me. Or maybe that's exactly what's inside her course i dont know
I love this interview with Codie! Her message is simple, inspiring and consistent. That message is, small business ownership is the backbone of the US and the more ownership regular people have in small local businesses the more security they have and the stronger the social and community fabric we have as a country. Love this interview!
Managing money is different from accumulating wealth, and the lack of investment education in schools may explain why people struggle to maintain their financial gains. The examples you provided are relevant, and I personally benefited from the market crisis, as I embrace challenging times while others tend to avoid them. Well, at least my advisor does too, jokingly
The market is volatile at this time, hence i will suggest you get yourself a financial-advisor that can provide you with entry and exit points on the shares/ETF you focus on.
Through closely monitoring the performance of my portfolio, I have witnessed a remarkable growth of $508k in just the past two quarters. This experience has shed light on why experienced traders are able to generate substantial returns even in lesser-known markets. It is safe to say that this bold decision has been one of the most impactful choi
that's impressive!, I could really use the expertise of this advisors , my portfolio has been down bad....who’s your financial advisor or coach, do you mind hooking me up?
I've actually been thinking of reaching a portfolio-adviser, my 401k and stocks been losing everything it's gained since 2019, mind if I looked-up this one coach you use?
Honestly, How can I be part of this project I earnestly hope to build a strong financial future I'm interested to take part, who's the person behind your success?
I would have never thought I would be so deeply intrigued by this kind of pod, but this was SICK! All of the sudden I feel like my business could be acquired and I buy a TBM and fly my wife to Jamaica every month😮
Can we bring her again for a follow up and go through the rest of the notion doc and have more ideas for businesses that are women focused! Great episode! Congratulations Sam!
Congratulations Sam and Sara! I enjoyed this episode, I watch Codie's channel from time to time. She is interesting but I don't know about laundromats, car washes, mail lockers, etc. The businesses she talks about seem just so labor intensive
Shaan, the words you are searching for at 1:18:00 is Circle of Influence versus Circle of Concern. 99% of people concern themselves with things that they have little to no influence over (national level politics being a perfect example). This generally just leads to people yelling into echo chambers at best, or at nobody at all in most instances, as they focus their energy on things beyond their control. What you knew intuitively (congrats) is that the more effective way to navigate life is to limit what you are concerned about to what you have influence over, then focus on growing that influence. You do this exactly as you say, by focusing on the things in your life and growing yourself, then naturally find your influence has expanded to fit. There are no new ideas of course, and this framework comes from Steven Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People (as Sam probably could have told you).
Codie 'check my numbers' Sanchez...i would expect you come prepared to something like MFM... Her tune on laundromats here is so different from what she says on social media. Her ability to not have any concrete information on anything she shared here is concerning. Since Hampton launched, i grade guests on if i think they would be invited based on the stated criteria...i could be wrong here but i doubt she has been invited.
Pretty sure the Halloween biz is just like the firework business. Lots of planning and cash outlays and then you get back into the black the last week of October.
I tried a couple of Codie's ideas. Didn't work and doesn't look like she actually has experience doing most of them. It looks like what she shares is just from an analyst view point. It''s not from someone who has actually put in blood and sweat and built that company and has stories to share.
20:56. It sounds like your talking about Ikea on steroids. Ikea has preassembled rooms that you can walk through and see different types of products shown togethering for the different types of atmospheres.
This is my guess why flowers tend to be a gift woman like. Flowers = the gift that is nice to look at like art, can be a centrepiece for other decor, and because it’s perishable it always changes hence it’s different each time you get it.
I've started making my own surprise candles to stop my girlfriend from gambling on random candles online. I buy jarred candles or other fancy jars, make custom labels and lids and buy pawnbroker pledge liquidation jewellery, diamonds and gemstones or fold up a banknote or love letters and put them in the hot wax. The win rate is way higher, the jewellery fits, its stuff she wants and she likes that I always have the next 1 ready.
1:10:34 huge difference between black and purple belt in BJJ lol. I am definitely trying to be the most interesting person possible. Current competitive brown belt.
In one statement she said women like to discount shop but someone should try to make a premium craft store. It’s not like hobby lobby, Michael’s and Joann’s haven’t been around for a collective 100 years or so. Sounds super easy right? 😂
Can’t hate on Codie as she just leveraging other’s audience. That’s what she’s doing g best is not laundromats, car wash and all this SBs she talks about.
Many H-1B visa holders do pursue paths to permanent residency and citizenship, transitioning from non-immigrant to immigrant status over time. The H-1B visa is indeed a non-immigrant visa, which allows U.S. employers to employ foreign workers for a certain period, typically three years, extendable to six years.
@u2b83 yes but it only allows them to be sponsored for a greencard application via their work. In that sense, the visa is "dual intent". But, in any other way, they are not allowed to act as an immigrant. For example, Mr. A arrives in the US for the first time on their non-immigrant work visa. Customs asks "what's your purpose" and Mr. A says something an immigrant would say like "I'm moving here now, I got a job at Google and my cousin works there too and I'm so happy and can't wait to start a new life here in USA. I'm an American now. America rah rah rah" What would happen? ✋️ 🫸 ✋️ 🫸 🫷 stop nope, customs would say. They would then revoke their visa, turn them around and send them back to their country. They are not allowed to act as an immigrant. Not even allowed to say they have the intention to get a greencard. They can only apply for it through their work once they are on assignment on US soil as it's a grey area for that.
Most successful people always seek the knowledge and ldeas of finance professionaIs to help them create wealth and claim to attain their success without any help
To create wealth, proficiency is needed. I indulge in special packages with the Ideas of my finance professionaI and so far I’ve attain so much returns (amount is confidentiaI)
Rebecca Martin Watson is my professionaI, I found her on Bloomberg where she was featured, I looked up her name on the internet. FortunateIy I came across her and reached out to her, you can verify her yourself.
Killed it! Really interested in the ideas that was brought up, especially around the adoption, romance novels and fertility. 🙌🏾 congrats on the little cutie Sam and Sara ❤
Shame on you Shaan! Kudos to the guest for not reacting to all of your passive aggressive comments, and distasteful criticisms. And to all the haters … man get some therapy -
I am not a fan of hers. If you have an angle that is making you rich, don't tell anyone. Especially her. Some gigs require you to get as much exposure or people as possible but a lot of businesses don't. Hustling in silence can be your friend. Once you tell her how your business is making money and she puts it on TH-cam, the sharks can smell blood in the water. Meaning other rich people are going to cut into your action.
What's weirder than congratulating someone you don't actually know for having a healthy baby?! NOT congratulating them! Parasocial relationships be dammed: Congratulations SaSa (Sam + Sara) - the day you become parents is everything. Extra props for making it into Scorpio Szn. 💗
"getting pregnant is hard so create a BS app to get money from and data mine vulnerable women who are trying to get pregnant"....idk if I've heard a more predatory idea and she was SO proud of it...
Thank you all!
Congrats Sam! Here's to another little mfm toddler!
Congrats
Congrats!!
Congratulations Sam!
Congrats Sam

Yes, the people watching the short clips miss out on so much.

Brutal ep - I normally get through all the episodes - but this was torture, lasted 15 mins and had to turn it off
This might be my favorite MFM episode. Love Codie and her estrogen fueled ideas.
I will donate $5k to charity if any of her numbers were real
Same
🎉Congrats Sam and Sara!!!🎉
I’m 12 mins in and have no idea what they’re talking about
thats how you know its bs
Genuis title
codie is the bset, so out there without filters, she created it and deserve it and is succesfull now and we need more of her with deeper questions
Congratulations Sam & Sara!
Fantastic episode. Codie is always great but Shaan brought out some even cooler topics & responses from her. Thumbs up.

Following you from London

I am sorry but really bad ideas and even worse math behind them.
makes sense on the werewolf/romance all the girls growing up on beauty and beast. Subconscious connection maybe? Great set guys.
This one was amazing :) It's wierd how very small amount of people can see the long term game, and so many focus on get rich quick...
Shaan, you mentioned Tai. Gotta bring him on the pod, it'll be a great episode
I want to know the name of the business that she mentions that does romance books.
20:17 this take a house and make it a shopping experience...
Isn't this, just, like, Ikea?
Pretty clear Codie knew nothing about the halloween biz lol
why?
Pretty sure the Halloween biz is just like the firework business. Lots of planning and cash outlays and then you get back into the black the last week of October.
She gives me a Trust Fund Baby vibe .
I tried a couple of Codie's ideas. Didn't work and doesn't look like she actually has experience doing most of them. It looks like what she shares is just from an analyst view point. It''s not from someone who has actually put in blood and sweat and built that company and has stories to share.
Which ideas did you try?
Um she actually stated these were just ideas, and that she hasn't tried any of them.
Congratulations Sam and Sara.👶
Your defintion of love will forever be changed witnessing the birth of your child.
Codie:
there’s this crazy thing with women and candles. Shaan is your wife like this?
Shaan: Crazy?! Yeah! Go on.. 😂
Brave man!
First trust = First R us which spells the sentiment of that type of thing
Shaan you are awesome, give yourself more credit. I so enjoy Listening
Haha! Cody Sanchez, trying to Rebrand before our eyes. ‘I’m not a girl boss, I love family life’ BS. your girl boss days are numbered 😂
You guys are killing it!
20:56. It sounds like your talking about Ikea on steroids. Ikea has preassembled rooms that you can walk through and see different types of products shown togethering for the different types of atmospheres.
Love is the most important thing in the world!
10/10 episode. Loved this!!
I came to watch Codie! I literally send her TH-cam Channel to all my friends.
They do actually write those books. They write every day, have a 2-4k words a day target, track their daily words, and smash out books for years.
Shaan Puri - I highly suggest reading "The Secret Life of Plants"
Codie is a Vampire...they're longer than my cats fangs wow
08:17 … “ I think you should do whatever you want , it’s just not my jam” …..Oh if everyone had this opinion..The world would be a better place …😎
This is my guess why flowers tend to be a gift woman like.
Flowers = the gift that is nice to look at like art, can be a centrepiece for other decor, and because it’s perishable it always changes hence it’s different each time you get it.
The collaboration we’ve all been waiting for. And congrats to Sam and the fam
Congrats to Sam & Sara - welcome to many many years of sleep deprivation… It gets easier with time😂

Great episode ❤
Not a regular viewer and had no idea who Codie is. Enjoyed it immensely. I don't understand the hate. Great guest.
What are the 4 businesses? I don’t want to watch.
Congratz SAM!!!!! You'll never be the same :)
Loved seeing Codie Sánchez here and hearing more about her story! Great episode, and congrats Sam and Sarah!
1:10:34 huge difference between black and purple belt in BJJ lol. I am definitely trying to be the most interesting person possible. Current competitive brown belt.
Amazing Pod!!!❤❤❤
If Hobby lobby and IKEA had a baby. 20:53

Codie is the new theronos
Can’t hate on Codie as she just leveraging other’s audience. That’s what she’s doing g best is not laundromats, car wash and all this SBs she talks about.
That ‘might own the Atlanta Falcons’ quip was pro.

Great to be one of four! :DDDD Love Codie!
I ❤Listening to you and will be in touch ❤
Please protect peptides!!!
1 of 4 here to represent:)
Congrats, Sam 🎉❤
I was confused about acc/ee too. I need to go on that deep dive
Codie is conservative on her numbers. I love it…!!!
This is beyond amazing. Success has no shortcuts, there’re ways to attain it.

I'm delighted to be here. Such a unique idea deserves attention. I'm interested in participating; could you provide more details?
Rebecca Martin Watson is my professionaI, I found her on Bloomberg where she was featured, I looked up her name on the internet. FortunateIy I came across her and reached out to her, you can verify her yourself.
I got her page immediately I researched, I read through it and seems pretty interesting, I just reached out to her
Codie Sanchez, the guest we didn’t ask for or want!
Heck yes! Love Codie Sanchez. I have been following her for a while now.
"oh im doing this new crazy health kick, ive been putting my blood from my feet into my arms"
Mmm not sure.. As soon as she said “As one does” another toff! She’s too polished for me! Watched her before..Bring back Sam!
Hey @shaan can you do a show how to start a business in your 20’s with under 50k investment these days
Plz spam it 😎
Killed it! Really interested in the ideas that was brought up, especially around the adoption, romance novels and fertility. 🙌🏾 congrats on the little cutie Sam and Sara ❤
Whats the book business? Do they only sell on amazon?
Ive never heard of her and never stepped foot in one of those goofy stores
Lol the first idea totally flopped. I'm sure its a decent business but the way it was pitched it was less profit than your typical senior SF tech job.
Lol! Today is the day! 👏🏽🙌🏽
Congratulations to Sam and wife on the birth of their baby! Best wishes!
Genuine question. Let’s hypothetically say we’re in a total bear run. Will the strategy still be profitable?
breakout strategies on inverse etfs
Shaan bringin' it to the girls!
Yay!!! Congratulations Sam!!! We LOVE Codie Sanchez, so excited you brought her on!
Shame on you Shaan!
Kudos to the guest for not reacting to all of your passive aggressive comments, and distasteful criticisms.
And to all the haters … man get some therapy -
I love Codie but she kind of seems clueless
Yes!!!! Cody is my new hero! ❤🔥
Congrats Sam! I hope Jesse called you
I love Codie Sanchez. Thank you for bringing the realz and the eostrogren.
Categorically 👍

Drake has his house set up as a virtual tour and you can buy items that you like that are fulfilled by his partners
I pay for TH-cam to not watch commercials
It’s so much fun seeing Codie on MFM!
"getting pregnant is hard so create a BS app to get money from and data mine vulnerable women who are trying to get pregnant"....idk if I've heard a more predatory idea and she was SO proud of it...
Shawn will you give your baby to one of those couples, honestly??? I hope no one works on that; but as they say money is the root of all evil!!!
Charlatan, she should stock to advising how to climb the Private Equity ladder
