Hi Vineet - An important feedback from me on the Service by Bosch. I bought Bosch Front Load 7 kg Washing Machine in 2019. Today I called the Service Centre for replacement of Drain Pipe that became brittle and is breaking into pieces. I am told the replacement cost is Rs.2,600/- I am not sure whether this is inclusive of GST or not. But, Rs.2,600/- for replacing a drain pipe is in my opinion LOOT of the HIGHEST ORDER by BOSCH. I am sure an average buyer in India will appreciate this. Otherwise, no issues with the machine as such.
About the LG direct drive model at 19.37- the lesser weight is not a con but actually an advantage. Front loading washing machines have additional concrete weights inside them to help keep the machine stable during spinning. In the direct drive machine, there are lesser moving parts and therefore lesser weight. Since it is a direct drive, oscillations are lesser and therefore lesser additional weight needs to be added to stabilise it. Also, having additional programs that can be downloaded cannot be counted as a con. It may be a useless feature used for marketing but as long as it does not diminish your experience in any way, how is it a con? What is not a pro does not necessarily have to be a con.
Hi Vineet, I'm using a LG 6.5 FL & your point at 19:40 about being less sturdy is not correct. I had no issues with the durability/sturdiness of the Washer. It's plenty strong & sturdy, I would infact say that being lighter actually should be counted among 'Pros' & not in cons. Thanks.
From his guide video in 2021, i bought Bosch and been using it for 9 months. It is absolutely excellent. I like it's silence drive and antivibration features most. Noisy while spinning but better than my neighbor's LG. Washing quality is also good if you use it strategically. I wanted to try IFB for my second home but now i have changed my mind. I'd recommend Bosch.
U did a big mistake by purchasing Bosch washing machine. I'm using Bosch front load washing machine from 6 years, no doubt washing machine is great in terms of build quality, working etc, but the after sales service is toooooo bad. My machine is not working from 1 month due to pcb problem, tried 100 calls to bosch service centre and they are just saying me to wait from last 1 month for a new PCB. I'll never recommend Bosch washing machine to anyone due to such hell after sales service. Bosch washing machine will work flawlessly for some 4-6 years, but after that it will start giving you problems , it is not reliable in terms of long term usage and specially the after sales service which is absolutely rubbish!
Bosch is the worst brand. I have brought this on 11th march 2023. I have video for how this machine wash clothes. There were detergent in clothes after whole washing programme. Before this I was using LG turbo inverter dd that was amazing. Please don't buy Bosch ecosilence drive. I am regretting for not buying LG again.
I bought a Bosch WAJ206 washing machine after selling LG direct drive one. Only issue with Bosch machines is that the wash selector knob has no LED indicator. If you're not paying attention the accidental selection of other modes might happe. Don't ever buy the LG direct drive machines. Yes, they do work comparatively silent since the drum is directly attached to the motor. However, wear and tear and chances of drum breakage is high. Especially when it is out of warranty.
I am using ifb machine and its working from 22 years without any problem…once the spinning belt broke rest no problem and never been touched by any mechanic…..and service that they provide was very good when I called them they responded on a single call….and lastly I want to tell u they are also giving very good resale value as compared to any other machine….consumer friendly company I must say
I've been using Bosch for the last 1.5 years. Its the best. My parents are using IFB except for the sensor board n outer frame everything is replaced in IFB, for which they are paying 5000 AMC every year for the last 7 years.
@@DACOD_ji actually IFB is costly for a 10 year old 40K washing machine. For the last 7 years we have been paying 5000 AMC per year that itself is 35000. Bosch where else no problem as of now. The washing time is low compared to IFB Water consumption is also low. If we take care Bosch like descaling at a regular intervals of 6 months and cleaning the bottom dirt accumulation spot, it will perform better without any maintenance charges

Now? 2. The Bosch model that you have mentioned in the review was 2021 model. So would it be an issue with a old year model (since the prices of newer models are significantly higher).

Mostly we do our laundry twice a day. I just had to replace the drain pump in June 2022(members keep forgetting to remove coins or some other stuffs causing drain pump clogging) which had developed vacuum in it causing drain leakage from bottom. Now I would like your opinion on the new Hisense front load 7kg machine which was around 20k in last sale & I am planning to get it by this year end for my second home in native place. What are other budget but good options in front load machines? Water supply source is mainly from well & need to check the TDS levels. What can you suggest me?

Regarding front load washing machines: I live in a tier 2-3city. On enquiring about service availability all of the brands like LG samsung ifb nd bosch said yes. Service is available. But only LG and Samsung have their dedicated service centres in my city. Should I risk it up nd go with bosch or ifb? Or should I stick to LG and samsung? As they are equally good and have better service availability?
LG is good. I had used IFB and BOSCH earlier as well. IFB and BOSCH though good machine had service issues. Only LG and Samsung provide WIFI model which helps you control over mobile phone if you really want it. Also check for inverter model I guess that may have better power consumption (LG/Samsung has it, certain model of BOSCH has it, not sure of IFB).
I have been using IFB since 2009 with medium usage, 5 times a week. Still going because i still get spares support from company. Major failure is shocks after every 2-3 years. It is the only electronic item at my home which has lasted 13 years only because of out of warranty support i get from company. I recommend IFB because 10 years spares support is tried and tested. No other brand can beat it at least in India.

I used an IFB machine for 20 years and faced a lot of scams from the IFB service from exorbitant parts cost to service guy faking complaint on the motor just as he realised the motor is out of warranty. These can vary depending on location. Just sharing my experience with IFB.
After this Video I purchased Bosch Washing machine from Amazon on 26th June..It delivered on 30th June...Bosch Service Provider Contacted me on 1st July & Today 2nd july Installed the machine..Service provider persons are very cooperative..The machine is impressive, sturdy ,very less sound,No such vibrations...😊

Hi Vineeet. Very in depth and informative video. I have 2 queries: 1. Does Bosch machines offer a specific wash program or any program that you recommend that can be used for babies or infants? 2. Does higher RPM of 1400 means more aggressive spinning of clothes which results in more wear tear and damage to the clothes as compared to a 1200 rpm?
1. It depends on type of fabric and how much dirt on it. Antibacterial and freshen up is good for baby clothes. They wash in 40° temperature which is enough to clean germs, also you can set to high temp with your convenience. But heating a cloth also makes fabric dull. So if they're soiled then use it in cotton which low temperature. 2. Higher RPM damages thin clothes. Also there's chances of damage in fabric like thread tears and all with chronic use. Set according to fabric. Also most programs are presettled with 1200 so no worry about it.

I’m using Samsung hygiene steam machine since last 8 months and it’s a brilliant washing machine and reason is that in flipkart Diwali sale I got it at 26000 only and it’s the best I can have at this rate and trust me wait for sale for washing machine …. It’s fabulous machine I never had any disappointments from it and water consumption is very low , cleaning is super , best thing is AI of it … we can control it far from home
Good video. 👍 Used to have IFB and BOSCH in past 10-15 years. They are good machine but both had issues with the service with some issue never being resolved. Currently using LG for the last two year, they are sturdy contrary to what was told. Reduction in weight is due to absence of belt mechanism and moreover due to this it was smaller in width for the same capacity compared to other brands, if you have concerns on your door size for getting in your new machine then you may fine LG better. Compared to bosch and IFB, LG seems very silent so much so that you may not realize it is running even for a 2 year old machine, does not displace while spinning either. Touchwood, service seems good so far but just been two year and no real issue faced to know how good the service is actually is. Also, LG thinkQ app is more than just to download the cycle if a wifi model is chosen.
I used IFB digital machine from 10 years and it's maintanence cost was 4X it's actual cost. Overheating was a daily problem which ruined most of the clothes due to rise in temperature and the machine would over heat if the voltage is lower than 200v. and it has a open surface from the floor side from which where the detergent foam was released at the time of any fault like in case of overheating. Service is too poor and costly for IFB here the retailer and showrooms have closed the sale of IFB and LG has closed the vacuum cleaner units.

Yes, Bosch spare parts are costly. Been using it for past 7 years. Recently got it repaired. Technician advised me to buy Indian made products like IFB, Samsung etc.

You should consider buying a pressure pump for your home, it will solve many problems. 0.5 HP pump should be sufficient
Regarding front load washing machines: I live in a tier 2-3city. On enquiring about service availability all of the brands like LG samsung ifb nd bosch said yes. Service is available. But only LG and Samsung have their dedicated service centres in my city. Should I risk it up nd go with bosch or ifb? Or should I stick to LG and samsung? As they are equally good and have better service availability?
LG is good. I had used IFB and BOSCH earlier as well. IFB and BOSCH though good machine had service issues. Only LG and Samsung provide WIFI model which helps you control over mobile phone if you really want it. Also check for inverter model I guess that may have better power consumption (LG/Samsung has it, certain model of BOSCH has it, not sure of IFB).

I have been using IFB since 2009 with medium usage, 5 times a week. Still going because i still get spares support from company. Major failure is shocks after every 2-3 years. It is the only electronic item at my home which has lasted 13 years only because of out of warranty support i get from company. I recommend IFB because 10 years spares support is tried and tested. No other brand can beat it at least in India.

Based on your suggestion i took ifb , they simply looting my money for water fillter costs 2560 and stabilizer costs 4750/- give me any suggestions . Return period is still on
I used an IFB machine for 20 years and faced a lot of scams from the IFB service from exorbitant parts cost to service guy faking complaint on the motor just as he realised the motor is out of warranty. These can vary depending on location. Just sharing my experience with IFB.

Hi Vineeet. Very in depth and informative video. I have 2 queries:
1. Does Bosch machines offer a specific wash program or any program that you recommend that can be used for babies or infants?
2. Does higher RPM of 1400 means more aggressive spinning of clothes which results in more wear tear and damage to the clothes as compared to a 1200 rpm?
1. It depends on type of fabric and how much dirt on it. Antibacterial and freshen up is good for baby clothes. They wash in 40° temperature which is enough to clean germs, also you can set to high temp with your convenience. But heating a cloth also makes fabric dull. So if they're soiled then use it in cotton which low temperature.
2. Higher RPM damages thin clothes. Also there's chances of damage in fabric like thread tears and all with chronic use. Set according to fabric. Also most programs are presettled with 1200 so no worry about it.
In terms of wash quality, Bosch or IFB. Confused about Steam Wash. Does it improves wash quality.

I’m using Samsung hygiene steam machine since last 8 months and it’s a brilliant washing machine and reason is that in flipkart Diwali sale I got it at 26000 only and it’s the best I can have at this rate and trust me wait for sale for washing machine …. It’s fabulous machine I never had any disappointments from it and water consumption is very low , cleaning is super , best thing is AI of it … we can control it far from home

Used to have IFB and BOSCH in past 10-15 years. They are good machine but both had issues with the service with some issue never being resolved.
Currently using LG for the last two year, they are sturdy contrary to what was told. Reduction in weight is due to absence of belt mechanism and moreover due to this it was smaller in width for the same capacity compared to other brands, if you have concerns on your door size for getting in your new machine then you may fine LG better.
Compared to bosch and IFB, LG seems very silent so much so that you may not realize it is running even for a 2 year old machine, does not displace while spinning either. Touchwood, service seems good so far but just been two year and no real issue faced to know how good the service is actually is. Also, LG thinkQ app is more than just to download the cycle if a wifi model is chosen.
I used IFB digital machine from 10 years and it's maintanence cost was 4X it's actual cost.
Overheating was a daily problem
which ruined most of the clothes due to rise in temperature and the machine would over heat if the voltage is lower than 200v.
and it has a open surface from the floor side from which where the detergent foam was released at the time of any fault like in case of overheating.
Service is too poor and costly for IFB
here the retailer and showrooms have closed the sale of IFB and LG has closed the vacuum cleaner units.

Stay 100 miles away from bosch because of after sales service. Pls don't go for bosch. I'm using Bosch front load washing machine from 6 years, no doubt washing machine is great in terms of build quality, working etc, but the after sales service is toooooo bad. My machine is not working from 1 month due to pcb problem, tried 100 calls to bosch service centre and they are just saying me to wait from last 1 month for a new PCB. I'll never recommend Bosch washing machine to anyone due to such hell after sales service. Bosch washing machine will work flawlessly for some 4-6 years, but after that it will start giving you problems , it is not reliable in terms of long term usage and specially the after sales service which is absolutely rubbish!
