this might come off the wrong way but i really love this video. it makes me sad seeing chan in pain but at the same time.. this feels so human. chan's face just looks so... reminiscent and it's somewhat refreshing to see him stop for a second and just feel. you can tell the exact moment when he spaces out and just falls into the music. he is so hellbent on keeping us and his members happy, it feels like he forgets about himself sometimes. i hope he knows that he doesn't have to be an idol all the time, he can be human too
we know it's not about woojin cuz he made that clear that it also wasn't about a specific person but it could be a personification of a certain time in his life because with his reaction and the song itself clearly has some story behind it you don't just whip up a song and lyrics this meaningful and emotional and not have some personal connection to it idk this is just my speculation I could be completely wrong and Chan really did just manifest it all
I think you might be right. Or if not, I like your interpretation. A lot of the time, artists personify a period of time in their life in their work, I've done it too in my personal life, it just makes it easier somehow.
