I am currently on: Flekken Gabriel - Tarkowski/Cash/Botman (2/3 rotation) Salah - Saka - Fernandes - Eze - Mbeumo Haaland - Watkins I'm keen to spend less at the back with the extra mins per match this season. The 4.5 DF rotation completely avoids the big 7 for first 8 fixtures, which by then I'd likely be wildcarding. If Mbeumo is injured I am going to move him on for a forward and switch to 3-4-3. Actually thinking of Alvarez as my differential and to take advantage of City fixtures. Having a good 4.5 DF as my first sub I think allows me to take that risk. Also considering Wissa as he would likely get pens and more nailed mins.
A lot of happenings with the teams this year. Is Jackson a starter for Chelsea? Madison looks like he will be flourishing playing as a CAM for Kane. My dilemma is currently who LFC player to own. Everyone will deliver I'm sure. Salah should be nailed, but so expensive. Diaz/Jota or Gakpo/Nunez will share minutes.

He’s gotten a lot of minutes Alvarez I think he could end up a great pick. It’s a bit of a shame with KDB back at full fitness we won’t see him getting as many minutes I’d say, but if I had to try and predict Pep (which is always dangerous) then I’d say Alvarez gets quite a few starts in the first few GWs at least. I prefer Bruno over Son right now from what I’ve seen. It’s up to Son to show us improvement from last season before moving for him personally, don’t wanna take that gamble on him from the start with how many other good midfielder options there are.
I realize it's hard to pick lfc-players. But they looked very offensive-minded during end of last season and pre season. Come 2nd gw vs b'mut, and many will regret having no lfc-players i think.
I would really love to own Salah or Darwin for that game ye. 9-0 last season in the same fixture is something people don't really mention in videos I've seen tbf (although maybe as Salah did blank in that one shockingly).
@@FPLPhillips yeah, the template right now, with double United and no lfc is kind of "funny", knowing they netted just 7 goals more than relegated Leicester last season. Salah's price is a big factor of course.
Is Pedro nailed and if I have the money should I go pedro or jackson? I was really liking jackson in preseason but with nkunku out I think his chances and link up play will be reduced and he will be much worse without nkunku playing with him.
I don’t think he’s 100% nailed long term but for GW1 and maybe the first few I think the chance is much higher than it will be in a few weeks when Kudus has been integrated, Enciso returns from injury (although idk exactly when that will be) etc. He’s a risk so you should have a decent 1st in my view which was why I mentioned maybe benching a midfielder who you like but has a slightly tougher fixture in GW1 for him.

Ye of course. You shouldn't be afraid to go template at all, but equally shouldn't be scared to go against it. Always just pick the team YOU think will score the most points, which isn't as simple as it sounds these days with obviously a lot of information and opinions from others about what is best.

Wanna see how it plays out with Kane, but it could make Richardson gold. If Kane stays then I think Son or Maddison could do great, I just wanna wait and see with them and the first 2 games are harder for them so it gives a nice couple of GWs to assess them and bring in the right pick.
From what I can tell they’re both capable of playing a number of positions across the front 4 really. Now with Kudus joining too there’s even more competition, and it makes it less easy to predict who will be a solid starter or if there will even be one with so much rotation between the many attacking options at Brighton.

Around week three when chelseas fixtures are good are James or colwill worth it
I think I prefer Chilwell to both. Double up may be viable but I will want to leave at least 1 slot for if an attacker from Chelsea looks good.
