Do you need to create a file to open that new page? I thought you mentioned the stream deck will go into the new application if you assign it to open those icons once the program itself is open.
I bought a premier pro profile for 25 which is a ridiculous price and i cannot even download it, they just took my money. I sent an email but they did not respond. When I want to download it says this xml file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. the document tree is shown below.

I mean, for exemple, i have a action in photoshop that, when i hit F2, it saves the opened file on a specific folder. Do you think that the software is able to recognize F inputs and run inside photoshop? I thank you in advance! Nice tutorial
@@chomsky72 You would have to install the new one separately. If you had customized the original, you will need to redo your customization. There is no way to do a merge of 2 profiles.

Kind of. I would compare this more to the command buttons on a display tablet. Unless you seriously think you will use the Touch Bar save the money and get the regular version, I have the touch bar and while it is convenient sometimes I don’t use it enough to have been worth it and it does not really do this sort of thing
Great video, thank you! I just got a Stream Deck to help with my workflow for PS but am running into some problems. Is there a way to map keys to commands that dont have shortcuts? I use the Place Linked command a ton but there is no shortcut and so I cannot come up with a way to map a key to the Stream Deck. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

@@YoungBlaze Stream Dec saves automatically you can click the gear panel to get preferences and export out your profile from there.

I think you can make a python or mel commands and save script on shelf then add a shortcut key for that script. Then on streamdeck add the shortcut

can you program it to have shortcuts for illustrator and when you work in AE the layout changes to shortcuts for AE?
Stream Deck will automatically switch the profile displayed when you change applications

Hi Bruno. Absolutely. If you can apply it as a shortcut (which you can with F keys) it can be mapped to a Stream Deck button.

I wish there was a capture one version for the stream deck plus. I downloaded the capture one pack but was a bit disappointed the dials are not used.
The icons are abit too large to my taste, is there an option to add padding? or margin?
You can run a Photoshop script on Transparent icons that reduce the layer size but keeps the canvas size the same.
I see the profile set for Premiere Pro, I also need profile sets for Ps, Ai, & Ae. Are these available or are they just icon packs?
All of those sets have starter profiles and you can then customize them further.
No affinity designer icons?
