      @@CrocFIXyour welcome and thank you for spending your time making this video.
      Successfully done..
      Biggest problem was getting the fingerprint reader to stay in place..was very frustrating.
      Removal of the old glass was a lot less trouble then you had in video..
      Probably was not glued as well as yours..

    best explanation video ive found, but my kit on order includes new frame, so there will be no need to heat and remove screen from old frame correct? ellifino im in uncharted territory here but a new A13 5g running on straight talk out of stock for many months

      Hey. Yes, if you got your new lcd with the frame, there is no need to seperate the old cracked from the frame. Just put all stuff from old phone to the new phone. Cheers

That's least I could do thanks for informing of Ways I could give back. I prefer to give directly then have funds stolen by the platform! Thanks again for the knowledge!

    Hi friend, i have seen others video about replacement of Samsung A14 5g. Your tutorial is the one where you don't detach battery! It sound nice, so the others youtuber are following unnecessary step? I would like to follow your more easily way even i don't understand why, others do differently . Thanks for your attention.

    • @CrocFIX
      @CrocFIX  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello. It depends if you replace the screen with the plastic frame around or not. If you replace just the screen without frame, you don't need to detach the battery and vice versa.

    To remove screen from the frame easily. Place screen at a pan heater at 100c for 3 mintues and should lift off easily with a thin blade from the edge

    I'm doing this repair will a donor phone that I found in a puddle that won't charge. I'm actually homeless and paying somebody else isn't an option. So, my question is do I need to remove the glass with heat like you did

    • @jeremyjohnson6964
      @jeremyjohnson6964 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Well seeing as I'm about 50% done I'm just going to go for it I'm taking the old glass off of the donor phone when the plastic frame and hopefully I won't break it won't break it I'll let you know

    • @CrocFIX
      @CrocFIX  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey, if the phone won't charge there is no need to taking off the old glass. Maybe it's just the sub motherboard problem, which is at the bottom of the phone itself. So first step would be to remove the back cover, which is made from plastic and then look and the connectors. Maybe just clean them with a brush. Also have a look at the usb-c port? If you find dirt inside or if it's bended. Hope that helps. Good luck

      @jeremyjohnson6964 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I found it in a puddle after a rainstorm and it's the same model with an A14 5G basically what I'm going to do is take all the guts out of my phone with the broken screen and put them in the other phone with a good screen and the plastic case it's kind of nervous about doing it because I run the risk of destroying my phone that works

      I don't think I explained well.... my current phone has a broken screen... I'm replacing the broken screen with one from a phone I found that doesn't charge o f power up that I found in a puddle after it rained. Same model phone....I think what I need to do is just take the internals from my phone and put them in the other phone

      @@CrocFIX when I attempt to do something like this, I come close to insanity. Too many screws to undo, too much finesse required. At 69 y.o., I’m just not wanting to fool with it, unless it’s very simple. I would rather not spend so much $$, but it was essential in this case.
