- Harry M. Woods and Mort Dixon wrote the novelty tune, “I’m Looking Over a Four Leaf Clover,” in 1927. Other songs that Woods wrote include “What a Little Moonlight Can Do,” “Side by Side,” “Try a Little Tenderness;” Dixon penned lyrics for popular standards such as “Bye Bye Blackbird,” “Would You Like to Take a Walk,” and “I Found a Million Dollar Baby (in a Five and Ten Cent Store).”

Thank you so much for watching! ✨
Wishing everyone a happy Easter with this cheerful tune from the 1920s! 🤗☀️🌷
I love how this gal plays the piano! Such natural talent. Piano players are the musicians I envy the most….. and I’m a sax player!
Stephanie's far-left hand makes such a mellow bass sound.
Just outstanding
Your creativity with these old standards is incredible. Thanks for brightening my Sunday.
Stephanie and Paolo, how do you manage to make so many arrangements to one tune, in such a small time frame? Key changes, and changes in tempo! As always, the more I play this, the more depth and melody I hear!! Thank you so much, again!😊😊
SUPER----
Thanks Stephanie Trick , Paolo Alderighi for such beautiful music ❤❤

Happy Easter Stephanie and Paolo 🐣 Thank you for your magnificent interpretations and the weekly music history pills of the 30s
Nice. I can imagine an upright bass to the side thumping along as well. Too fun. Thanks
It's amazing how many tunes from the 1920s there are that I haven't even heard of. Thanks for your wonderful renditions and wishing you a happy Easter time!
Very enjoyable!
as usual, bravissimo!
WOW, That Was GREAT and FUN TO LISTEN TO. Keep it up!
Ай молодцы! Как же красиво! И какой же всё-таки страйд оптимистичный и жизнеутверждающий стиль! Спасибо, Паоло и Стефания!
Love it! I don't know how you managed to make such a great performance with so many different tempo and harmony changes, be so inventive, and each give a stunning solo out of what is a very average tune. Have a great week and I look forward to next week's offereing
As always, very tastefully done! A joy to listen to!
Fantastic! Many thanks and a Happy Easter to both of you! 🐰
I remember this song from about 1950, so it must have been making its second round.
as usual magnifincant
One of those tunes who music and lyrics seem so much older than they really are. Always associated this with ragtime and pre-WW I player pianos, straw hats, long dresses. Definitely not flappers and the Roaring Twenties.
Hear now! This sorta thing's a downright danger to polite social order. All that rapid rustling' of them keys and that SINcopation gets to rileing-up the blood. Next thing y'know, there's grown men and wimmen dancing' in a lascivious manner. Then they'll be hot rodding', leading' to a life of crime. Thas jest what happened to that Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, it did. In fact, Stephanie and Paolo _are_ the Bonnie and Clyde of the piano.
Oughta put a stop to this sorta thing 'fore it gets out of hand.
Hey, can you do a blooper reel video? As a pianist, I appreciate the hours and hours of work and sweat that goes into this stuff. Just like the old song, "pick yourself up, dust yourself off, start all over again!" I think a blooper reel would me a lot of fun, and just give a little insight to the work involved.
The first time I noticed this tune, they were using it to advertise Shasta soda pop: "You're looking over an orange soda..." I think they had King Arthur and his knights singing it.
Toujours aussi merveilleux notre couple jazzy.. Mais Carlo devrait peut être commencer un régime 😂 ?
C'est bien sur PAOLO qui devrait faire un régime.. 🙏🌹😘☺️🎶
It's like playing Twister on piano. it's probably a good thing you two are married. haha It always comes off so well. What a team, what a pair. Love it to death. It sounds like an octopus crawled out of the water and jumped on the piano, ahhahaha Great!!!!!!
STANDING OVATIONS////////////////////////////////////////////////!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I took a short break to type this but I am still clapping, haha
It seems all my comments are ghosted by youtube.
First heard this clover song in th-cam.com/video/9NoPmxE_lfY/w-d-xo.html . Too bad they can't fit a second piano in.
It makes me want to grow a couple more arms
A great rendition of a song that brings back good old memories.
Bravissimo!!!
Very nice!
