This. Every finished game is popped out of the disc drive of a PC, the staff claps, and the director declares the game as 'gold.' Writes it on a piece of tape and puts that tape on the disc that was JUST EJECTED FROM A PC. Period. Dudes just seem to miss this. Dev kits simply dumb down the specs to fit the particular console.

If source code is not a mess then it's just sony they don't want to do anything with bloodborne. As a dev myself it's impossible to lose code if you sold multiple copies of game and have it available on a online service for free I always see people say fromsoftware made a spaghetti code but I think it was Japan studio who made code undiscernible.

Welcome to the family 😁 It's super nice over here! Honestly I made that decision to not buy consoles after the PS4. Literally used it to play like 3 or 4 games, while everything else was on PC. That's not a smart use of my money and time. Use that $500 and get yourself a handheld PC as well aka Rog Ally or Steam Deck (my preference). Does wonders on your back log. Cheers 🍻
@@KeyJayHD thanks, the pc used to be my little brother's and is the one he built himself, I don't know anything about what he used, but he got himself a better computer or something and gave me the one I now have (this way I can actually game on a real pc and not a laptop that struggles with basic cutsceens) I've actually been enjoying games on PC lately (put way way too much time into Hades and Crab Champs)

Who the hell are these fanboys? I love PlayStation studios games. I am glad if more people would play and relate to these games. If console audience shift more to PC side, these studios won't actually need to shut down due to their good track records. I am greatly impressed by the two releases this year on PC and wait for Ragnarok to be available for PC players to play.
It’s as if every console fanboy that has no idea what pc gaming is like, just assume that everyone pirates everything, and that no one ever buys games on pc. So when games exclusive to their plastic box is ported over 2-4 years later, they’re like “wow, if I waited 2-4 years for it to release on pc, I could’ve just pirated the game instead and got it for free.” So they get mad, because they didn’t think these games would ever be ported over, so they bought the games on their console, without thinking that it would be ported to pc so that they could pirate it. So TO BE FAIR to the guy who was complaining about the PS exclusives coming to PC even though he has a PC...I think his frustration was that he bought a PS5 for those games and has come to realize that since all those games are coming to PC as better versions, he feels like his purchase of a PS5 was a waste, i.e. buyer's remorse. A lot of these fanboys don't seem to understand that both Microsoft and Sony have been struggling to guarantee a solid return on investment by releasing games on only one console. Microsoft faced this last generation with the Xbox One's poor sales, so they opened up the ecosystem to make Xbox less about "consoles." Sony is now facing the same financial pressures as these big budget singleplayer games also need a much larger guaranteed return on investment given how expensive and time consuming it is to make games at the highest level of fidelity at this point. Console platforms are no longer growing, people have really high standards for what passes as an acceptable AAA singleplayer experience, and these types of titles take several years to make and often cost hundreds of millions of dollars... The people investing that kind of money need to know their investment was worthwhile, and with stagnent console sales and a generally more cynical and hard to impress userbase, the financial success of these types of games isn't as guaranteed as it used to be for IPs that aren't GTA. Microsoft has tried navigating this phenomenon by investing more in a larger number of smaller scale games (Hellblade or Scorn, for example) while making nothing truly exclusive to the Series X/S, hedging their bets on software (gamepass), which is braodly how Microsoft makes money in other areas, like Office 365 and Windows. Sony seems to be dragging their fans, kicking and screaming, down a similar service model. This is happening while the most profitable games on Playstation are all multiplatform games like Fifa, Madden, Fortnite, and Call of Duty, the latter being owned by Microsoft now... Also, if we use more than 6 brain cells we can conclude that these big single player exclusives largely aren't what sells consoles, collectively anyway. Consoles are a cheaper, simpler alternative to PCs. They give you a simplified gaming machine to use at a reduced cost. That is what the value is of a console, even if you pay to play online. You spend $500USD to get a PS5 and you get something that rivals a PC that is at least twice as expensive. That is primarily why people use consoles. That, coupled with their convenience. The concept of exclusives are something console producers came up with to compete with one another, but the most played and most finacially successful games on Playstation are available on literally every other platform imaginable. So it would seem that people are in fact not just buying them for the exclusives, but are choosing them based on simple brand loyalty, social pressure from following friends to a given platform, or maybe they just like the menu and OS, they like the controller, whatever. Exclusives are clearly of secondary importance when those exclusives aren't as popular as multiplatform games, as I mentioned previously. The closed off console platform seems to be a thing of the past. The future of consoles as a concept is probably in console/PC hybrids like the Steam Deck or Rogue Ally.
Even tho I have a PC I still love to play Singleplayer Games on my PS5 because I often associate PC with work. A comfy couch setup really does wonders after a day of hard work (I still play like 50% of my games on PC tho). PS5 for me is a great place to play and I am happy that main PC players can play some good games as well. If the game sells well on multiple platforms it might help pitching a sequel. At least that was my hope for Hi-Fi Rush (RIP Tango). Games releasing on multiple platforms is a win win no matter what and it wont invalidate my purchases I made on PS5. Side note: You just cannot help people who pre-order digital deluxe editions. That just stupid no matter what game it is. I personally like Horizon but its not worth paying full price for a dumb digital deluxe edition.

I have a Playstation and no PC and couldn't care less if someone else plays a game. What i do care is the structure how sony give the ps plus Essential tier a Discount of 30%.....but only if you don't have a sub and are a new player. Otherwise they offer you a 25% Discount to Upgrade from Essential to the more expensive extra or Premium tier..........but only for the remainder of your currently lasting Essential tier. Then it becomes fullprice again. So if your ps plus runs out tomorrow you get 25 Discount for a whole day of extra and then its gone again.
Denuvo etc imho just makes the game more pirated because that version is without denuvo and works better. There is not a single game that has not been cracked so the point of putting denuvo on games is just pointless

Serious question (I can expand on my point if needed) but, do you guys not see or understand why these people (clowns) get upset that they have no exclusives? Let’s be real, outside of exclusives both Xbox and ps have nothing to offer when you compare it to a pc, so it makes sense why they’d be upset when they spend $500+ on a system that is basically useless without exclusives. If the argument is that exclusives need to be stopped so Xbox and Sony can actually build good hardware and not just software then that makes sense, especially when during the 360 and ps3 days those systems had decent price to performance compared to the pc, they weren’t great but for what they were, the hardware was actually very good for the price, but then the 7th gen came and they focused on exclusives and home entertainment, mainly software with little to no hardware upgrades for the price hike, and it’s even worse with this gen, hardware is what they need to focus on, but if they are going to focus on software (which they will because they make more selling games and it’s much easier than building the hardware) I get why the pony’s are upset, yes they’re stupid for picking the box over the master race, but I’d feel some type of way if someone told me I got a phone for $1000 and the next day it went to $500 and a brand new one that is 10x better just came out for a $1000. The PS3 was the best home console, Internet Browser (with download capability), Media Storage, Wallpaper customization, BD/DVD/CD player. That is the only console with any reach close to a PC in terms of a capability. No relevance to your comment, just saying that consoles have no value and are negative value in the longrun. No backcompat, you need to buy a complete new one that releases.

I understand where those fans are coming from. People say that exclusive games are a thing of the past but that couldn't be further from the truth. Most people only buy 1 console in every generation and the biggest reason why you buy one console over another consoles are the games. The PS5 sold just under 60 million which is good but not great and I don't think it will go much higher because there is no reason to buy a PS5 over a PC

Honestly I made that decision to not buy consoles after the PS4. Literally used it to play like 3 or 4 games, while everything else was on PC. That's not a smart use of my money and time.
Use that $500 and get yourself a handheld PC as well aka Rog Ally or Steam Deck (my preference). Does wonders on your back log.

@@KeyJayHD thanks, the pc used to be my little brother's and is the one he built himself, I don't know anything about what he used, but he got himself a better computer or something and gave me the one I now have (this way I can actually game on a real pc and not a laptop that struggles with basic cutsceens)

Who the hell are these fanboys? I love PlayStation studios games. I am glad if more people would play and relate to these games. If console audience shift more to PC side, these studios won't actually need to shut down due to their good track records. I am greatly impressed by the two releases this year on PC and wait for Ragnarok to be available for PC players to play.
It’s as if every console fanboy that has no idea what pc gaming is like, just assume that everyone pirates everything, and that no one ever buys games on pc. So when games exclusive to their plastic box is ported over 2-4 years later, they’re like “wow, if I waited 2-4 years for it to release on pc, I could’ve just pirated the game instead and got it for free.” So they get mad, because they didn’t think these games would ever be ported over, so they bought the games on their console, without thinking that it would be ported to pc so that they could pirate it. So TO BE FAIR to the guy who was complaining about the PS exclusives coming to PC even though he has a PC...I think his frustration was that he bought a PS5 for those games and has come to realize that since all those games are coming to PC as better versions, he feels like his purchase of a PS5 was a waste, i.e. buyer's remorse.

These guys complain about piracy and that PC guys will “get this game for free”, well here’s a shocker: there’s actually a market for jailbroken consoles and in some countries they sell really well, the 3ds now being all the rage in the modding community. Also, some countries don’t actually have access to this game due to PSN restrictions, so they won’t hurt any sale to begin with. All is fair game

A lot of these fanboys don't seem to understand that both Microsoft and Sony have been struggling to guarantee a solid return on investment by releasing games on only one console. Microsoft faced this last generation with the Xbox One's poor sales, so they opened up the ecosystem to make Xbox less about "consoles." Sony is now facing the same financial pressures as these big budget singleplayer games also need a much larger guaranteed return on investment given how expensive and time consuming it is to make games at the highest level of fidelity at this point. Console platforms are no longer growing, people have really high standards for what passes as an acceptable AAA singleplayer experience, and these types of titles take several years to make and often cost hundreds of millions of dollars... The people investing that kind of money need to know their investment was worthwhile, and with stagnent console sales and a generally more cynical and hard to impress userbase, the financial success of these types of games isn't as guaranteed as it used to be for IPs that aren't GTA. Microsoft has tried navigating this phenomenon by investing more in a larger number of smaller scale games (Hellblade or Scorn, for example) while making nothing truly exclusive to the Series X/S, hedging their bets on software (gamepass), which is braodly how Microsoft makes money in other areas, like Office 365 and Windows. Sony seems to be dragging their fans, kicking and screaming, down a similar service model. This is happening while the most profitable games on Playstation are all multiplatform games like Fifa, Madden, Fortnite, and Call of Duty, the latter being owned by Microsoft now...
Also, if we use more than 6 brain cells we can conclude that these big single player exclusives largely aren't what sells consoles, collectively anyway. Consoles are a cheaper, simpler alternative to PCs. They give you a simplified gaming machine to use at a reduced cost. That is what the value is of a console, even if you pay to play online. You spend $500USD to get a PS5 and you get something that rivals a PC that is at least twice as expensive. That is primarily why people use consoles. That, coupled with their convenience. The concept of exclusives are something console producers came up with to compete with one another, but the most played and most finacially successful games on Playstation are available on literally every other platform imaginable. So it would seem that people are in fact not just buying them for the exclusives, but are choosing them based on simple brand loyalty, social pressure from following friends to a given platform, or maybe they just like the menu and OS, they like the controller, whatever. Exclusives are clearly of secondary importance when those exclusives aren't as popular as multiplatform games, as I mentioned previously.
The closed off console platform seems to be a thing of the past. The future of consoles as a concept is probably in console/PC hybrids like the Steam Deck or Rogue Ally.

Even tho I have a PC I still love to play Singleplayer Games on my PS5 because I often associate PC with work. A comfy couch setup really does wonders after a day of hard work (I still play like 50% of my games on PC tho). PS5 for me is a great place to play and I am happy that main PC players can play some good games as well. If the game sells well on multiple platforms it might help pitching a sequel. At least that was my hope for Hi-Fi Rush (RIP Tango). Games releasing on multiple platforms is a win win no matter what and it wont invalidate my purchases I made on PS5.
Side note: You just cannot help people who pre-order digital deluxe editions. That just stupid no matter what game it is. I personally like Horizon but its not worth paying full price for a dumb digital deluxe edition.

I have a Playstation and no PC and couldn't care less if someone else plays a game.
What i do care is the structure how sony give the ps plus Essential tier a Discount of 30%.....but only if you don't have a sub and are a new player. Otherwise they offer you a 25% Discount to Upgrade from Essential to the more expensive extra or Premium tier..........but only for the remainder of your currently lasting Essential tier. Then it becomes fullprice again. So if your ps plus runs out tomorrow you get 25 Discount for a whole day of extra and then its gone again.

Serious question (I can expand on my point if needed) but, do you guys not see or understand why these people (clowns) get upset that they have no exclusives? Let’s be real, outside of exclusives both Xbox and ps have nothing to offer when you compare it to a pc, so it makes sense why they’d be upset when they spend $500+ on a system that is basically useless without exclusives. If the argument is that exclusives need to be stopped so Xbox and Sony can actually build good hardware and not just software then that makes sense, especially when during the 360 and ps3 days those systems had decent price to performance compared to the pc, they weren’t great but for what they were, the hardware was actually very good for the price, but then the 7th gen came and they focused on exclusives and home entertainment, mainly software with little to no hardware upgrades for the price hike, and it’s even worse with this gen, hardware is what they need to focus on, but if they are going to focus on software (which they will because they make more selling games and it’s much easier than building the hardware) I get why the pony’s are upset, yes they’re stupid for picking the box over the master race, but I’d feel some type of way if someone told me I got a phone for $1000 and the next day it went to $500 and a brand new one that is 10x better just came out for a $1000. Again, I get laughing at them, they deserve to be mocked, they’re clowns for supporting a company that would shot them in front of their family for $10, honestly they’d do it for a $1, maybe free if they spoke out of turn. The PS3 was the best home console, Internet Browser (with download capability), Media Storage, Wallpaper customization, BD/DVD/CD player. That is the only console with any reach close to a PC in terms of a capability. No relevance to your comment, just saying that consoles have no value and are negative value in the longrun. No backcompat, you need to buy a complete new one that releases.

Most people only buy 1 console in every generation and the biggest reason why you buy one console over another consoles are the games. The PS5 sold just under 60 million which is good but not great and I don't think it will go much higher because there is no reason to buy a PS5 over a PC
