It will throw the hammer without breaking the bash's rhythm. So it's a free 100 damage and 100 shields if it hits. So the combo is L2 hammer spin in, hold R2 to bash and when your cooldown is refreshed you press R1 to throw the hammer between bashes. Or if they're running use the L2 to close down again. Can't run away and 100 shields every 2 seconds

I swear solo Q ranked is an absolute mess. It’s like 3 games win with god team stomping bots followed by 6 games lose with bot team vs god team. Where is the balance in matchmaking? There’s got to be some kind of stupid shit going on. It is impossible to win the game in the bot lobby especially as tank or healer but even dps. I didn’t get this season 0. I just grinded and kept moving up the ranks. Close games hard fought games fun games all the way up to plat then the season reset and now the games are absolute trash. Mess of games where teams go 30-0, 35-1 , 20-1, 15-0, 15-2 vs 0-15 0-20 3-25 etc. It’s crazy.
The problem here is your failure to understand how ranked matchmaking works. You're in the funnel grind it's the beginning of the season. Have patience and wait for the better players to go up, or get better and join them.

If it is pre-made 6 squads then they shouldn’t be putting them against solo 6s and likewise, the GM players shouldn’t be all stacked on one side vs the hardstuck silvers regardless. Not to mention this is going on at low levels too where the top players aren’t even at because they are already clear of it (reset was 7 levels) Make the games fair games. It’s not a free pass to make them shockingly bad for weeks whilst we wait for things to ‘even out’. 12 people queue, 6 silver 2s 3 silver 1s 3 gold 3s. Firstly, solo a should be a thing, secondly at this point they should all be on even teams based on their ability. It’s like Marvel Rivals has gone from actual sbmm to eomm. Quickplay is the same by the way. Engagement optimised matchmaking is one of the worst designs. It’s been proven to be a total disaster in games like Apex Legends and here it is way worse because the game is so dependent on having a team of 6 players synergising to win. Definitely feels like EOMM is in play and that is not good if so.
if you want to climb in rank you have to play healer because team can survive without decent tank or dps, but you better ensure that your healer is doing its job and not a human potato

@andrewosborne7611 if you got the opening chase down the support easily and kill them or a dps close by. Just keep flying them away every charge up
