yeah, "mainstream" maybe not. I mean...at least the same level platform as the other ppl who get called "underground". I meaning like Tech and Vinnie Paz , not 50 cent which i guess is what "mainstream" would usually mean
I just love the fact that he rounds off the whole lyrical exercise by referring MC Hammer. Just shows you that even with all the heavy subject matter 'Bis deals in, he still has a sense of humor.
I compare this record or Rip The Jacker to Def Con Zero or Hip Hop for $ale. There you can see the diversity of Bis' music. He can rap from street mundane topics to scientifical and esoteric madness.
Battle rap from the renaissance multi mega watts... Copenhagen curriculum of metaphors...classsss dismiss. Senior studies with canibus. The lyrical attitude killer.
Poetry needed him and his affects on the arts are revolutionary, even beyond his own understanding possibly. I expect even he is amazed by his own creations. He has understandings of infinity which suggest his abilities are gifted from places we don't understand.
i wish i knew about this in 2002! lol i started listening to canibus again around 2014........ crazy bars. i wish em and bis would do a track going back n forth dissing each other, but then make amens at the end of the track. would be lit!
I brought this the first day the album came out it's truly timeless and guess what it's almost outta print he's a genius and his best piece of work is still yearning to be birthed
A fucking idiotic critics judge his albums as failed comebacks to mainstream rap. They can't understand that after 2000 B.C., Canibus chose to go underground consciously.
Jon Bmp .. Good lookin man ! Different style, but been bumpin Epidemic lately. They are dope ! Peace from Copenhagen.. Maybe you missed this one. Peace :) String Theory - Lucid Dreams (ft. Tek-Nition)
It's actually the modified audio of a drill sergeant ( such as in the army ) saying " Left, Left.. ". You know, like how drill sergeants have a marching cadence, as they're yelling instructions to their troops, and say things like: " Left, Left, Left Right Left..."? Shit, at least I think that's what it is, based on the lyrics... lol.
Advanced how? having a lot of references that most people don't get doesn't make you advanced, it just makes you unrelatable. What you do with the references is what makes it advanced/complex, and tbf I don't think Canibus does too much with it on this one. I think Canibus is a great lyricist, but the "advanced" references is not why - lyricism is also about getting your point across, and obscure references doesn't help that. Still a great record though.
I love this ranting oddball, "I hate you gay teletubbies" 😂 or "pin my medals upon my chest so I can leave Wyclef in the circle of death" It's a bit easier to diss someone with an uncommon first name 😂
You follow the Bible? Why You listening to Bis then? He knows what's up in the real world AND he's tried promoting the truth but people like "oh you need to go harder" but thats dumb, I mostly listen to his stuff like c of tranquility and write alot of songs like that also, there is no Hell beyond this frequency, if you knew who you really are u would understand all information is within YOU not a bible lol I wanna do a song w this dude SO bad but I cant find any info on contacting. 1Love1Light
I think he does believe in the Holy Bible and Jesus Christ, "Risk the ultimate sacrifice asking Christ why He replied passions like mine have a price" - Canibus, Magnum Innominandum He also praised Jesus Christ in his battle with Dizaster
If you was smart you'd realize that yes, while he lost that battle, he literally won in every other aspect, he gained a lot of respect, exposure and fans
People refer using notepads in multiple songs from many rappers since the beginning of time. Some people don’t trust phones and computers with their info
“My best piece of work is still yearning to be birthed”
"Number two in the world at the top of the summit, I loved it, shoulda packed a parachute for the plummet"
Best lyricist ever.
Holy shit when this came out in 2002 it was out of this world, 14 years later and it still is.
I've been listening to it since 05, what's up bredren. Canibus is maybe resurging to the mainstream this year
@@forgetfulfunctor1 how so? Not a chance in hell unfortunately.

Adenine, Cystosine, Guanine and Thymine is really what makes me rhyme supreme!! Only Canibus to rhyme, Thymine, and Rhyme Supreme, on a track.
+Joseph Sullivan just have to point out that right as I scrolled to the comment section he was spittin dis line
+BOBBY Owens It's more of the meaning behind this particular rhyme.
@@sully42682 It's about both. Bis showing off his technical ability while also conveying that he's genetically programmed to be superior at rhyming.
"Pin my medals upon my chest so I can left, right, left in the circle of death!" 🔥
WHAT THE FUCK...🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💀💀💀💀💀
into certain death
Still one of the most fire songs and Lyricist ever still in 2021
Still in 2023...

Great way to word it out.
LYCRİCAL GENİUS !!!
A genius without meaning! Respect!
... my mind is blown, the S&M Live Version of Metallica's "Devil's Dance" woven into a beat for bus?! How did I miss this when I was younger?!

i must be from the second time around.

Epidemic
+Jason williams The whole album is mesmerizing. Canibus also put out an album entitled: Melatonin Magik, which, is essentially the sequel to Miclub.
