      Needs a confidence builder, maybe 37-year-old Arsen Goulamirian around the end of Q1 in 2025

    I didn't know much about Chris Billam-Smith before this interview, but, he sounds like a man who's got his head screwed on. He should do all he can to secure the WBC Cruiserweight Title fight that was mentioned during this conversation, as, for me, the WBC belt is THE belt to hold and defend, in any weight class. Thanks for uploading; I liked it and subscribed.

    What an absolute genuine decent gentleman you are Chris!! Didn’t have to take this fight but wanted to be best, but so gracious in defeat. No excuses or anything.
    I really hope he gets another shot, and I believe he will come back stronger. Lots of the top fighters should take note of this man.

    Billion smith is completely delusional and needs to sit back jd watch the fight and realise how one sided aaa whipping it was. The fight proved he’s only British level. Jack Massey would beat him. The fact he still thinks he’s the best cruiser weight is laughable. His team did him a massive favour ducking Opetaia because he would have been badly hurt. Back to fighting pommies for Chris

    My long abiding memory of the night was CBS measuring his dressing room. A good British world champion was chris 🥊👍

    A good comeback fight would be Jack Massey, evenly matched, both brave and decent chaps. Both in need of a strong performance against a credible opponent and both coming off brave performances in defeat.
    If CBS' management can get him a WBC title shot after such a comprehensive loss would be an amazing feat. Not really earnt, but if it's offered, he'd be stupid not to take it.

    How much did he gets from that loss? Opetaia offer millions from his own pockets to fight this guy, yet he went txts Zurdo for a fight now he worthless 😂😂 bite me but yes he is worthless now😂😂

    • @jthomas4361
      @jthomas4361 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Had he won he won it would have been an absolute super fight with Opetai. And he backed himself to win. 2 - WBC president has mentioned his name and he could fight for the belt
      3 - Biggest ticket selling cruserweight in Britain.

    • @juanalvarez1149
      @juanalvarez1149 6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      CBS and his team underestimated Zurdo. They thought they could bully the smaller man but it was a cherry pick gone wrong.
      Surely they wanted to enter negotiations with Jai holding 2 belts as leverage.

    This lad is a special character. In such a cutthroat industry with not much room for nice people most of the time Chris has maximised every last drop of his potential to achieve incredible things. His dedication, toughness and work ethic was too strong for Okolie and Riakphore but with Zurdo he jyst met an exceptional all rounder who could do everything so smoothly and consistently. Chris should be proud of all the great wins he's achieved and look forward to working on things to come back stronger in 2025. I dont like the Opetaia fight for Chris it has to be said because I think he's all wrong for Chris with his rythmn and movement but there are other options out there and another belt holder I believe to target after an eliminator maybe.

  • @peternut358
    @peternut358 11 วันที่ผ่านมา +4

    CBS 🦆 Opetaia and says he believes he can beat him 😂😂😂 Opetaia would Batter CBS the same as he did Massey who would give CBS a great fight.

    When a boxer prefaces everything he says with “I believe”, I always doubt their sincerity. I don’t think he believes one eighth of what he says.
