Leona Nash I saw Shania Twain in Vegas. She was fantastic! When I was 12 I saw Elvis Presley live. My first concert. OMG I was devastated when he died. Colonel Parker his manager was a lie and a cheat. Look it up he got 50% of everything Elvis made when he was alive. Elvis wanted to go overseas and sing which he never got to do as he wanted. His manager kept putting him off. Turns out the truth is Colonel Parker wouldn’t let Elvis out of his sight to protect Parker’s own interest. The plain truth is Colonel Parker had serious issues and was terrified if he left the US and went overseas with Elvis the US wouldn’t let him back in the country. It was said that the Barbara Streisand’s movie, “A star was born” wanted Elvis to play the part of the singer that was going down his career as her characters career takes off Parker had rejected it and Elvis didn’t know until to late. True?. Who knows I would hope not but damn 50% of his money? Sucks
