Yo, I am into this artistry as well & how much a great content is encapsulated in a very intelligent creativity. Although it is more raw, straight up, not much poetic, but that is the thing: he knows when he will use the appropriate elements to achieve his desired outcome in a specific piece. Mannn, I fuck with everything you said 'cause we share the same sentiments 👁‍🗨 1) Hopefully those who would hear this will not spit on that same 'hatred' towards God, 2) Even though these people commit evil or inhumane acts, that doesn't mean that their lives are less valuable. Like yeah, the good ones are 'more' worthy of existing on Earth rather than those who 'shouldn't' occupying a space on this planet; but we may also look at it that since the worldly system brings suffering & living here is really hard, maybe the bigger picture & a fortiori is that these good beings won't experience the agony and angst anymore 3) And people blame God for the consequence/s of their actions. Yeah, the attack of Hopsin's ill mind 7 is somehow parallel to this but Joyner's approach fuels the resentment, then flipped the whole thing at the end & inject that perspective when those who are receiving this craft who have the same ground/questions are diving and vibing into this, utterly getting into their feelings, and strengthening their hostility towards God; which is extremely effective in reaching out and winning others' perspective. Joyner is embodying empathy through his music. The relevance is high because he is anchored through the lens of another; even from the opposite spectrum. In addition, the verse: Tryna talk to these strippers but they keep dancing, maybe another perspective that we can conclude to that is the lack of attention, or searching for attention (anywhere), or trying to impart something to other individuals but usually the deep talks about serious matters or some sort of enlightenment is always left unattended. Furthermore, I love that same effect to you when Joyner mentioned Big Pun, Selena, & Eazy 📀💎 Really went HAM ☄️☢️🌪✍🏼⛓💡⚖️🧯 You just earned a sub ✊🏼

Tomi and Laura's hateful rhetoric and disrespectful comments about dead black people are why theyre in this song.
Michael was also proven not guilty and that documentary was proven to be filled with inconsistencies

He isn’t actually wishing death on anyone. The whole point of the song is “If you’re going to take these people with all the good they’ve done then why would you leave these people that do such messed up stuff”.

LOL that my eyebrow nearly hit orbit at the MJ mention, at exactly the same time y'all reacted. #ConsistencyBruh
Interesting that Zac's mind goes to practicable necromancy. o_O That's a fascinating response to Joyner's soul-swap-bargaining bars. I'm now keen to see which grimoires are on your bookshelves young man, & urge caution. #ThemShenanigansCanFcukYouUpFarBeyondJustThisLifetime
....but anyhoo, bringing things back to this rap track.... after further listens, have you not felt the cringe I did at the cheap&nasty, dollar-store version of Phil Collins' In The Air Tonight drum fill after he drops THE punchline?! Maybe its because I grew up on great bands with great organic groove from great drummers, but I wish when these young hippityhoppers decide to lean on "real" instrumentation (& I wish this were done more often tbh), that they would fully collab with quality session players for a quality outcome. #PetPeeve
I literally facepalmed.... such a shame, as (apart from the political nonsense & MJ oopsie) I really liked what he did in this, & real collaboration with seasoned players would have avoided the actual music involved being sub-par or cringey. Put it this way- if the music here was top-notch, I might well have forgiven the MJ & political bollox & have paid actual *money* for the track. As it is, I might not even listen to it again. Just sayin.
Auld Curmudgeon no.9 signing off. ;p

Fuh Q you’re full of bullshit. If they have any type of evidence to incriminate them they would’ve done that when he was alive and put him Behind bars with no problems they were after that man literally a Witch-hunt So you’re crazy if you believe that they had all this evidence and just hit it might come on be realistic with yourself you want to believe that he’s guilty but you can’t prove it

You guys are spot on! This song is dope as hell, but I don’t agree with all of what Joyner was spitting. It is creative as hell though. You guys should definitely react to the rapper Bizzle’s response to this. It is also called Devil’s work. He is spitting at Joyner from God’s perspective...it is amazing. Honestly, I like it better than this track and I’m a big Joyner fan!

SirMonkeySuit you’re incorrect, it wasn’t a story telling song....what story was he trying to tell? It was a creative song that was addressing certain issues (which I like, just didn’t agree with all of them). Still a good song though. If you want a story telling song listen to Dance With a Devil by Immortal Technique...then we will discuss some more.
