@@gabefife951 they shouldn't have been kentucky was number 8 Tennessee was #12 tennessee beat #13 Baylor that's when Tennessee jumped UK to number 7 that was after we beat #6 Duke. Makes no sense Gabe
While I agree both Oklahoma and Memphis need to be ranked in the top 25. Memphis’s Maui run is more impressive to me than Atlantis. Considering the quality wins Memphis had and losing to Auburn shouldn’t be that big of a loss. I don’t think you should punish them for the that loss just like you didn’t punish Iowa State.
Overall not bad power rankings but I think you've got UNC and Dayton way too low, definitely should not be lower than Texas, Vandy, and St. Johh's imo. Dayton lost to UNC by 2 and to ISU by 5, those are quality losses. UNC lost to Kansas by 3 and to MSU by 3, also quality losses (MSU is debatable but I don't think we know as much about them as we think we do but they are clearly good enough to beat UNC and to stay within 10 points against Kansas). UNC did lose by a decent margin to Auburn but Auburn imo is playing like the best team in the country right now. It always stings to start out with 3 losses so early but I think UNC and UConn will bounce back from those losses (Depending on how the March Madness bracket shapes out those teams imo are still good enough to make deep runs in the tournament but right now I probably wouldn't count on it until I actually see them bounce back and rack up wins on their schedule against quality opponents). I personally believe UConn didn't try against Dayton since they were so demoralized by the 2 losses they had to Memphis and Colorado and have been so used to winning (I acknowledge the Alex Karaban injury but I don't think it was the main reason why they got blown out so badly by Dayton). I do like Oregon as a 2 seed after their Player's Era Festival tournament performance. I still have Gonzaga as my National Champion and will continue to have them as that unless they have a total meltdown in the regular season. The UConn vs Gonzaga regular season game will be interesting and I'll be putting a lot of weight into it when analyzing Gonzaga as a potential National Champion.
Memphis really top 15. 6-1 Mizzou At UNLV SAN FRANCISCO UCONN Michigan state Ohio Lost to auburn. That's 5 top 100 wins and possibly 3 Q1s with a Q1 loss.
