From what I have seen and heard the police frown on people giving money folks over there so as I see it you did nothing wrong saying no. I sure don't think any less of you for saying no.
I never film giving money to the street people because it is against the law here sure I do it off video but I never give anything to a large group of people thank you very much for understanding sure I could have edited out saying No but best to be honest and not pretend
