My mother recites two psalms during our family evening prayers that is psalm 23 and 103.. she lived to 94 yrs and sickness never affected her.and was never afraid of anything she believes in the words of these psalms we learned them by heart in our own language now we are memorizing them in English I believe in the powerful words of prayer in these psalms I have not lack anything it is ahabit for me to recite it whenever it comes to my mind yes you are right these psalm prayers by DAVID are truly powerful keep on sharing the amazing love of God amen

I love Cheryl Hauer's though I would disagree on one point. Forgiving doesn't mean forgetting. It's being able to let go of the sin against us and forgive the perpetrator in a way that even though we remember the sin, it no longer has any power to hurt or harm us. Just a thought.
