Love Hua Hau’s talent. It’s an anti-War song from a child’s perspective, an old house once filled with love, but everything is gone, and hopefully to reunited with his parents in heaven in the future. A song for Peace!

You mentioned something related to the city of Chongqing, and that's indeed true. The Bombing of Chongqing is a deeply painful and significant part of history, bringing immense trauma and loss to the city and its people. His choice to perform this profoundly meaningful song in this city might be a tribute to that history or a call for people to remember the devastating consequences of war.
As China’s provisional capital during the Second Sino-Japanese War, Chongqing endured over six years of bombing, which stands in stark contrast to modern appeals for peace. This connection to history, especially expressed through art and music, often evokes profound emotional resonance and reflection.

You are right. Warm House is an anti-war song from a child’s perspective. It was first released at his concert in Chongqing, which was China’s wartime capital during the Anti-Japanese War, and experienced about six years of indiscriminate bombing, historically known as the “Chongqing Bombing.”
This was another exceptional performance by the one and only Hua Hua.

Huahua introduced this song at the Chongqing concert by saying:
“This is a new song of my Chongqing stop. I believe, in this world, most people actually hope that the world will always be peaceful. But perhaps desire, this thing, it will lead to, between people, being unable to understand each other, unable to resonate with each other. So it is also easy to lead to … easy to produce contradictions, even bigger contradictions. After contradictions arise, it may be that it seems that when everyone seems to have to strive hard for the same thing, the final result is also easy to backfire on oneself. So, I wrote a song.
Such a song … I think music… How can I put it? I think music may be unable to determine the development trajectory of the world. But I think music, it can influence people’s hearts. So I also hope to be able to use music in such a way to awaken that share of more conscience and more kindness that everyone possibly has at the beginning of life. Because I think when you treat others kindly, in fact it is also treating yourself kindly. So this song will be from the perspective of a child, to look at this so-called bigger contradiction before and after it occurs. His longing for this world. The name of this song is “Warm Heart”. Thanks to Hua Chenyu English Subs for the translation.

    Hua Chenyu:

As most of the comments say, this song is about a child's perspective when they lose their home - the security, stability and confidence that the world is a warm place. But knowing HUA's story, it also incorporates his personal tragedy when his parents separated when he was about 3 years old and he lost his mum from one day to the next. In an interview around 2016/17, he said that this was his biggest shock and the worst thing that could have happened. The song from Singer 2018 ‘Dad I'm at home’, which he didn't write but chose for a reason, also touches on this topic. His pieces in this competition describe a personal development cycle, as he once described it. What I want to say is that HUA also wrote the song from a very personal experience and placed this feeling in a larger context.

In the song, "tireless birds" refers to the bomb. The last paragraph... (The war made me) lose my warm house, and my wishes will never come true😢😢
