This reporter duplicated the flight system wrong. It was one plane and one helicopter which means the plane is going at hundreds of miles fast forward and the helicopter can navigate to many ways and even go horizontal and not vertical my bet is the helicopter was like down by the water or something and went vertical and hit the plane, but this woman has to quit saying two planes collided because she's stating it wrong which isn't unusual for most media
There is video on East Idaho News that shows the collision. Seems like the helicopter just flew from the side of the plane that was landing straight into it... th-cam.com/video/ZKqjF9srElM/w-d-xo.html
@ColH0m3r well my thinking is this. If you have a plane going 300 miles an hour or however fast you go they can't stop on a dime like a car collided accidentally. The biggest thing I think they're going to find out is there they are not on the same frequency Channel
@@JoelHope-mv6bp I had it backwards, helicopter hit the plane not the other way around. This guy covers aviation accidents and also mentioned that the helicopter pilot was most likely not on the same radio channel just like you've said. He also played ATC just before the mid-air collision and the helicopter pilot was given instructions to go behind the landing plane and for whatever reason the helicopter pilot did not comply. Lastly looks like this kind of plane has an approach speed for landing of about 160MPH not 300, but that doesn't change your point, the plane was doing what it was supposed to do and so far it looks like the helicopter caused this tragedy. th-cam.com/video/ouDAnO8eMf8/w-d-xo.html
That airport was over busy 30 years ago when I lived there. I can’t imagine what it’s like now. My heart is with loved ones living a nightmare now.
It was an ICE anti immigration squad in the helicopter.
